XTRONS QGB24EVB12X5N is a 12.3″ 2K Android 14 screen for the BMW X5 F15 and X6 F16 with the NBT EVO system. It runs alongside the original BMW software, so the CD player, radio and iDrive stay while you add wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and 4G.

Android alongside the original BMW system
The screen is made for X5 and X6 models with the NBT EVO system. Android runs beside the factory software, so the CD player, radio and iDrive carry on as normal.
When you switch to the original BMW menus, touch and gesture control don't work after fitting, so you use the iDrive controller there.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects without a cable and your iPhone can stay in your pocket. Maps, calls and music move onto the wide screen and Siri takes voice requests.
Wireless Android Auto
Android phones connect wirelessly for Google Maps, music apps and calls on the screen, with Google Assistant for voice control.
12.3″ 2K IPS display
The fully laminated IPS panel runs at QHD 2K (2400 x 900), with rich and accurate colour that reads well from both front seats. G+G touch glass gives a quick response.
Integrated 4G LTE
With a SIM fitted, 4G gives the unit its own connection for music streaming and real-time GPS navigation, and you can share it with passengers.
It supports a wide range of FDD-LTE, TDD-LTD and WCDMA bands, and the 4G antenna is in the box.
Dual-band Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi works on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands for a quicker, steadier link to a hotspot or home network.
Microphone for calls
Hands-free calls and voice commands are supported. For clearer calls, add an external microphone such as MIC001, MIC002, MIC003 or ACMIC005.
DAB+ with an external tuner
For digital radio, add an external DAB+ tuner such as USBDAB01, USBDAB02, USBDAB04, ACUSBDAB05T or ACUSBDAB06.
Reversing camera option
Add a reversing camera such as CAM005, CAM018, CAM009S (AHD 720P), or ACCAM716S, CAM1080, ACCAM10802 or ACCAMAI01 (AHD 1080P) to see behind the car on the screen.
Dash cam option
An external DVR records your journeys. DVR025S, DVR027S, DVR028S, DVR030S, ACDVR2K01 and ACWIFIDVR02 are compatible.
OBD2 diagnostics option
An OBD2 scanner such as OBD01S, OBD02, OBD03 or OBD04 shows real-time data and trouble codes from the car's computer on the screen.
Tyre pressure monitoring option
With TPMS08 sensors on the wheels, tyre pressures show on the head unit in real time.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 performance
The 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 is built on 6nm and reaches up to 2.4GHz. With 8GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB storage on Android 14, navigation and music run side by side without lag.

- This unit is for BMW vehicles that come with a EVO system.
- After installation the gesture control function cannot be activated and the touch function cannot work when you switch to original system (you can use iDrive controller to control on original system).
The screen is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display, with an ISO wiring harness, audio box, fix mount and plastic bracket supplied. Check that your car has the EVO system before ordering. For NBT, choose QGB24NB12X5N; for CIC, choose QGB24CIB12X5L (left-hand drive) or QGB24CIB12X5R (right-hand drive).
My X5 has NBT or CIC. Which unit do I need?
For NBT, QGB24NB12X5N. For CIC, QGB24CIB12X5L on a left-hand drive car or QGB24CIB12X5R on a right-hand drive car.
Does the touch screen work on the BMW menus?
No. On the original system, touch and gesture control don't work after fitting, and you use the iDrive controller instead.
Will I keep the CD player and radio?
Yes. The CD player, radio and iDrive keep working alongside Android.
