The XTRONS QGB24CIB12X5R is a 12.3 inch 2K Android 14 screen for right-hand drive BMW X5 E70 and X6 E71 models (2011-2013) with the CIC system. It brings wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and 4G, and you keep the CD player, radio and iDrive system.

For CIC-equipped X5 and X6
This unit only works with the original BMW CIC system in right-hand drive X5 E70 and X6 E71 models from 2011-2013. A CIC radio usually has separate CD and DVD slots and a BMW Car Communication Computer interface.
Left-hand drive cars need the XTRONS QGB24CIB12X5L. For the CCC system, choose the QGB24CCB12X5L (left-hand drive) or QGB24CCB12X5R (right-hand drive). If the iDrive has been modified or updated, check which system you have before ordering.
The CD player, radio and iDrive system are all kept.
12.3 inch 2K screen
The 12.3 inch IPS panel runs at 2400 x 900 and is fully laminated with a G+G touch layer, so it's clear, responsive and easy to read from either front seat.
Wireless CarPlay
CarPlay links to your iPhone without a cable. Maps, music and messages go straight to the big screen when you start a journey.
Android Auto
Android Auto also works wirelessly, with Google Maps, music and calls on the 12.3 inch display.
Android 14 performance
Android 14 runs on a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor at up to 2.4GHz, with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB ROM, so apps open quickly and several can run at once.
Integrated 4G LTE
Fit a SIM and the unit has its own 4G connection for music streaming, real-time navigation and remote position tracking, and you can share it with passengers. It covers a wide list of FDD-LTE, TDD-LTE and WCDMA bands. A 4G antenna is in the box.
Dual-band Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi works on 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands for browsing, streaming and app downloads.
Microphone for calls
Hands-free calls are supported, and an XTRONS MIC001, MIC002, MIC003 or ACMIC005 external microphone can be added for clearer voice quality.
DAB radio
DAB+ digital radio works with an external XTRONS tuner: the USBDAB01, USBDAB02, USBDAB04, ACUSBDAB05T or ACUSBDAB06.
Reversing camera
Add a reversing camera such as the XTRONS CAM009S (AHD 720P), ACCAM716S (AHD 1080P), CAM1080 (AHD 1080P), ACCAM10802 (AHD 1080P) or ACCAMAI01 (AHD 1080P) to see behind the car on the big screen.

- This unit ONLY works with the original BMW CIC system.
The unit fits with the ISO wiring harness, audio cable, fix mount, plastic bracket and screws in the box. Its sound goes through the car's AUX input, which must be working and switched on. If your car has no working AUX input, you'll need an FM transmitter such as the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03.
My X5 is left-hand drive. Which unit do I need?
The XTRONS QGB24CIB12X5L for left-hand drive CIC cars.
What if my car has CCC instead of CIC?
Choose the QGB24CCB12X5R for right-hand drive or the QGB24CCB12X5L for left-hand drive.
What if my car has no AUX input?
You'll need an FM transmitter, such as the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03.
Will I keep the iDrive controller?
Yes. The CD player, radio and iDrive system all stay.
