Choosing your car
Enter your registration on the home page or above any product list. We look up the make, model and year from the DVLA and the DVSA's MOT history records and match them to our list. If the lookup can't find your car, or isn't available, choose the make, model and year from the drop-down lists instead.
Your car is then shown in a green bar under the menu on every page, and product lists show what fits it first. “Change vehicle” in that bar forgets it.
Your registration number
A registration is personal data, so we treat it carefully. It is sent to the DVLA and DVSA only to look up your car, never written to our logs, and kept only in a cookie on your own device, so the site remembers your car. “Change vehicle” erases it. See our privacy notice and cookies.
What the compatibility badge means
- Fits your car
- The product is listed for your make, model and year. Custom-fit head units are made for the car's dashboard and wiring.
- Universal
- The product is not made for one car, for example a single-DIN or double-DIN unit or most accessories. It fits most cars with the right slot or mounting; check the dimensions in the specifications.
- Not listed for your car
- We have no record of it fitting your car. It may still fit, so ask us before you buy.
Your car's original system
Some cars were sold with more than one factory stereo or screen, and the right unit depends on which one yours has. Those products ask you to choose the original system, for example “Audi Concert & Symphony” or “Audi Multimedia”. A registration lookup can't tell which one your car has, so check the screen and controls in your car, or the product photos, before you choose.
Not sure? Ask us
Send us a message with your registration or your make, model and year, and a photo of your current stereo if you can. We will tell you which unit fits before you buy.
