This microphone is designed to be placed discreetly wherever it picks up your voice best, so the person you're calling hears you clearly while you drive.
The 3.0m cable reaches from the back of the stereo to that spot, and the 3.5mm standard plug just pushes in. The microphone lifts off its pedestal if you want to adjust it.
