A mini Bluetooth OBD2 scanner that plugs into your car's diagnostic port. Paired with an Android phone, tablet or XTRONS head unit, it reads and clears engine fault codes and shows live engine data while you drive.
- Reads and clears fault codes and the check engine light
- Live data such as engine RPM, coolant temperature and fuel trim, with a suitable app
- Bluetooth connection up to 3 meters, with no cable
- Works with OBD II compliant vehicles that have a 16-pin connector
Read and clear fault codes
Plug the scanner into the 16-pin diagnostic port under the dash and it reads diagnostic trouble codes, both generic and manufacturer-specific, with descriptions from over 3000 universal code definitions. You can clear codes and switch off the check engine light once a fault is fixed.
With an appropriate app it also shows live sensor data while you drive, including engine RPM, coolant temperature, calculated load, speed, fuel trims, intake manifold pressure, timing advance, intake air temperature and flow, throttle position, oxygen sensor voltages and fuel system status. That helps you spot problems before they turn into breakdowns.
Wireless connection
The scanner connects by Bluetooth up to 3 meters away, so there's no cable trailing across the footwell. Pair it with an Android phone or tablet using a compatible app, or with a Bluetooth enabled computer using the supplied software. The pairing password is 1234.
It suits XTRONS IA/ID/IM/IP/IQ/IX/PX/UA/QA/QB/QE/QP/QX/QL/QG/QIR/QT/QW Series head units.
