Android alongside your BMW system

The screen works with the original CCC system, so the CD player, radio and iDrive all stay, with Android, CarPlay and Android Auto added on top.

Sound from the Android side plays through the car's AUX input, which must be enabled. If there's no AUX input, or it doesn't work, you'll need an FM transmitter (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible).

Wireless Apple CarPlay

CarPlay connects your iPhone without a cable and shows maps, calls and music on the wide 12.3 inch screen.

Wireless Android Auto

Android Auto connects wirelessly too, so Google Maps and your music apps appear without plugging in.

Snapdragon 680 and Android 14

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 with 4 x Kryo 265 Gold and 4 x Kryo 265 Silver cores, built on 6nm, runs at up to 2.4GHz. Dual channel 8GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB of solid state storage leave room for apps and offline maps.

It runs Android 14.

12.3 inch 2K IPS screen

The QHD 2K IPS panel runs at 2400 x 900 and is fully laminated, with rich, accurate colour. The G+G touch screen responds quickly.

Integrated 4G LTE

Built-in 4G LTE gives music streaming and real-time navigation without tethering a phone, and you can share the connection with passengers. It supports 99% of carriers worldwide, but check your SIM works in this kind of device.

Dual band Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz and 5GHz connects to a hotspot or your home network for browsing, streaming and online games.

Microphone for calls

An external microphone (XTRONS MIC001, MIC002, MIC003 or ACMIC005) gives clearer voice quality for hands-free calls.

External DAB+

For digital radio, add an external DAB+ tuner such as the XTRONS USBDAB01, USBDAB02, USBDAB04, ACUSBDAB05T or ACUSBDAB06.

Camera, dash cam, OBD2 and TPMS add-ons

XTRONS reversing cameras, DVR dash cams, OBD2 scanners and TPMS kits all work with this unit. A TPMS shows tyre pressure on the screen in real time, and an OBD2 scanner reads trouble codes from the car.

This unit ONLY works with the original BMW CCC system. A CCC system car radio usually comes with independent slots for CD and DVD, a 10-pin LVDS port, and a BMW Car Communication Computer Interface.

If your car comes with NO audio AUX input or the AUX port is not functioning, you will need to order an FM transmitter to aid the installation. (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.)

It's a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display, with an ISO wiring harness, fix mount, plastic bracket, screws and installation instructions supplied. This version is for right-hand drive cars with CCC, which usually has separate CD and DVD slots and a 10-pin LVDS port. Left-hand drive CCC cars need QGB24CCB12X5L, and CIC cars need QGB24CIB12X5R (right-hand drive) or QGB24CIB12X5L (left-hand drive).
