A 12.3 inch Android 14 screen for the BMW X3 F25 and X4 F26 (2014-2016) with the NBT system. It works alongside the original BMW system, so you keep the CD player, radio and iDrive controller and add wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and built-in 4G.

Android alongside the BMW system
The screen fits the X3 F25 and X4 F26 dashboard and runs Android next to the original BMW system. Your CD player, radio and iDrive controller stay as they were, and you gain a touch screen with Android apps.
It's only for cars with NBT. An NBT car radio usually has a 6-pin LVDS port, an NBT interface, a media button on the iDrive controller and a touch pad controller. Cars with CIC need QGBS25CIB12X3 and cars with EVO need QGBS25EVB12X3. If you're unsure, check your VIN or ask your dealer, as a modified or updated UI can make the system hard to identify.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor running at up to 2.0GHz, with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB UFS storage, keeps Android 14 responsive.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
Your iPhone connects to the screen without a cable, putting maps, calls and music on the 12.3 inch display. Leave the phone in your pocket and it links up when you start the car.
Android Auto
Android Auto is fully featured, bringing Google Maps, music apps and messages to the screen. Voice commands mean less tapping while you drive.
12.3 inch 2K IPS display
The QHD 2K IPS panel runs at 2400 x 900 and is fully laminated, so the picture looks crisp and holds its colour from either front seat.
The G+G touch screen is made to suit the BMW dashboard.
Built-in 4G
Add a SIM card and the unit has its own 4G connection for music streaming and live navigation. You can also share the connection with passengers. A 4G antenna is included.
Dual-band Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi works on 2.4GHz and 5GHz, so you can connect to a phone hotspot or your home network to browse, stream and update apps.
Microphone for calls
A microphone cable is in the box for hands-free calls. For clearer voice quality you can add an external microphone such as XTRONS MIC001, MIC002, MIC003 or ACMIC005.
DAB+ with an external tuner
The unit supports an external DAB+ tuner for digital radio, for example XTRONS USBDAB01, USBDAB02, USBDAB04, ACUSBDAB05T or ACUSBDAB06. A tuner isn't built in.
Reversing camera option
You can add an XTRONS reversing camera, such as CAM009S (AHD 720P) or ACCAM716S (AHD 1080P), to see behind the car on the screen when reversing.
Dash cam, OBD2 and TPMS add-ons
An external DVR records your journeys, with models such as DVR028S. An OBD2 scanner (OBD01S, OBD02, OBD03 or OBD04) shows live data and trouble codes from the car's computer, and a TPMS kit (TPMS08) shows tyre pressures on the screen.

A USB cable comes with the unit for connecting a phone or USB storage.

The screen replaces the factory display and connects with the supplied ISO wiring harness, audio cable and plastic bracket. Sound plays through the car's AUX input, so AUX needs to be enabled. If the car has no AUX input or it doesn't work, you'll need an FM transmitter (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 is compatible).
Which BMW X3 and X4 does it fit?
The X3 F25 and X4 F26 (2014-2016) with the NBT system. For CIC choose QGBS25CIB12X3, and for EVO choose QGBS25EVB12X3.
Do I keep iDrive and the radio?
Yes. The CD player, radio and iDrive system all stay.
My car has no AUX input. Can I still fit it?
Yes, with an FM transmitter. XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 is compatible.
Does it have DAB?
It supports an external DAB+ tuner, which is sold separately.
