The XTRONS QGBS25CIB12X1 is a 12.3 inch Android screen for the BMW X1 E84 (2009-2015) with the CIC system. It sits alongside the original system, so you keep the CD player, radio and iDrive, and adds wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and built-in 4G.

Works with the original BMW system
This screen is designed for X1 models with the CIC system and works alongside it rather than replacing it. Your CD player, radio and iDrive controller stay as they are, and you gain Android apps on a large touch screen.
Sound from the unit plays through the car's AUX input, so AUX needs to be enabled. If your car has no AUX input, or it doesn't work, you'll need an FM transmitter; XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 is compatible.
12.3 inch 2K IPS screen
The 12.3 inch QHD 2K panel runs at 2400 x 900 and is fully laminated, which cuts reflections between the glass and the display. IPS gives accurate colour from both front seats, and G+G touch glass makes it responsive to the touch.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay is built in and runs wirelessly, so your iPhone connects when you get in and stays in your pocket. Maps, messages, calls and music show on the 12.3 inch screen.
Android Auto
Full-featured Android Auto puts Google Maps, calls and your music apps on the screen with controls made for driving.
Built-in 4G LTE
With a SIM card fitted, the unit has its own mobile data. That means live traffic on the map, music streaming and online apps without tethering your phone, and you can share the connection with passengers.
Dual-band Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz lets the unit join a hotspot or your home network for app downloads and updates.
DAB radio with an external tuner
Add an XTRONS DAB+ tuner (USBDAB01, USBDAB02, USBDAB04, ACUSBDAB05T or ACUSBDAB06) to receive digital radio stations through the unit.
External microphone
A microphone cable is in the box. For clearer hands-free calls you can add an XTRONS external microphone such as MIC001, MIC002, MIC003 or ACMIC005.
Reversing camera
The unit works with XTRONS reversing cameras including CAM009S (AHD 720P), ACCAM716S (AHD 1080P), CAM1080 (AHD 1080P) and ACCAM10802 (AHD 1080P), so you can see behind the car on the big screen when parking.
Dash cam
An external XTRONS DVR, such as DVR028S or ACDVR2K01 (ADAS), records your journey on the road.
OBD2 diagnostics
With an XTRONS OBD2 scanner (OBD01S, OBD02, OBD03 or OBD04) the screen can show live data and trouble codes from the car's computer, so you know what a warning light means before you visit a garage.
Tyre pressure monitoring
Fit an XTRONS TPMS kit (TPMSO7 or TPMS08) and the sensors show each tyre's pressure on the head unit as you drive.
Snapdragon 665 performance
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor reaches up to 2.0GHz and runs Android 14. With 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB UFS storage, you can install plenty of apps and switch between maps and music without waiting.

- This unit is for BMW vehicles that come with a CIC system. A CIC system car radio usually comes with a 4-pin LVDS port, a CIC Interface and a CD button on the iDrive controller.
- For NBT system PIease buy XTRONS QGBS25NB12X1N .
- For EVO system: PIease buy XTRONS QGBS25EVB12X1N .
- Connect the XTRONS unit to your car's AUX input for audio functionality. Ensure AUX is enabled to enjoy the full audio experience with our head unit. If your car comes with NO audio AUX input or the AUX port is not functioning, you will need to order an FM transmitter to aid the installation. (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 is compatible.)
First check that your X1 has the CIC system: the radio usually has a 4-pin LVDS port, a CIC interface and a CD button on the iDrive controller. Cars with NBT need XTRONS QGBS25NB12X1N and cars with EVO need QGBS25EVB12X1N instead. The unit's sound goes through the car's AUX input, which must be enabled; without a working AUX input you'll need an FM transmitter such as XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02. An ISO wiring harness, a plastic bracket and installation instructions are in the box.
