XTRONS QGB24X3MK is a 12.3″ 2K Android 14 screen for the BMW X3 E83 with the M-ASK system. It works alongside the original stereo, so you keep the CD player, radio and iDrive while adding CarPlay, Android Auto and 4G.
The screen is made for the X3 E83 with the M-ASK system. Android runs next to the original software, so the CD player, radio and iDrive carry on working.
If your X3 doesn't have a factory screen and you want iDrive controller functionality, you'll also need AKX3IDRIVEL01.
CarPlay connects without a cable, so your iPhone can stay in your pocket. Maps, calls and music move onto the wide screen and Siri takes voice requests.
Android phones connect wirelessly for Google Maps, music and calls on the 12.3″ screen, with Google Assistant for voice control.
The fully laminated IPS panel runs at QHD 2K (2400 x 900) with rich, accurate colour. G+G touch glass makes it responsive, and it reads clearly from both front seats.
With a SIM in the unit, 4G gives it its own connection for music streaming and real-time GPS navigation, and you can share it with passengers.
It covers a wide range of FDD-LTE, TDD-LTD and WCDMA bands, and a 4G antenna is included.
Wi-Fi covers both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands for a faster, steadier link to a hotspot or home network.
The unit supports hands-free calls and voice commands. For clearer calls, add an external microphone such as MIC001, MIC002, MIC003 or ACMIC005.
Add an external DAB+ tuner such as USBDAB01, USBDAB02, USBDAB04, ACUSBDAB05T or ACUSBDAB06 for digital radio with a stronger signal.
You can add a reversing camera, for example CAM005, CAM018, CAM009S (AHD 720P), or ACCAM716S, CAM1080, ACCAM10802 or ACCAMAI01 (AHD 1080P), to see behind the car on the screen.
An external DVR records your journey. DVR025S, DVR027S, DVR028S, DVR030S, ACDVR2K01 and ACWIFIDVR02 are compatible.
An OBD2 scanner such as OBD01S, OBD02, OBD03 or OBD04 reads real-time data and trouble codes from the car's computer and shows them on the screen.
TPMS08 sensors on the wheels show tyre pressures on the head unit in real time.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 is a 64-bit octa-core processor built on 6nm, reaching up to 2.4GHz. With 8GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB storage on Android 14, it runs navigation, music and other apps together without slowing down.

The screen is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display, connecting through the supplied ISO wiring harness. Sound runs through the car's AUX input, so AUX must be enabled; without a working AUX input you'll need an FM transmitter such as CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03. Modified or updated factory menus can make the system hard to identify, so check yours is M-ASK.
Yes. The CD player, radio and iDrive keep working alongside Android.
You'll need an FM transmitter, such as CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03, because the screen plays its sound through AUX.
For iDrive controller functionality on a car without the factory screen, add AKX3IDRIVEL01.
