Audi Q3 12.3 inch Android Screen Upgrade with Wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and 4G | QBA24Q3

This unit is for the Audi Q3, SQ3 and RSQ3 (Typ 8U) from 2013-2018 with the MMI RMC or MMI 3G+ system. It works alongside the factory system rather than replacing it, so the original CD player, amplifier, radio, factory Bluetooth and backup camera display all stay.

Check your software version before ordering: go to Setup or Menu, setup MMI, Settings, then version information. RMC and HN+R/HN+ are compatible; MHI2/MHIG is not.

If the car has an Audi music interface, it connects through the XTRONS AMI cable and the audio extension cable.

CarPlay connects your iPhone without a cable. Maps, music, messages and calls appear on the wide 12.3 inch screen, and you can ask Siri for what you need without picking up the phone.

Android phones can connect wirelessly or by cable. Google Maps and your music apps fill the wide screen, and voice control means you can set a destination with your hands on the wheel.

The QHD 2K IPS display has a 2400*900 resolution. Because it's fully laminated, there's less light refraction, so colours look natural and the picture stays clear from either front seat.

The G+G touch screen responds quickly to taps and swipes, and day/night mode with several UI themes keeps it easy on the eyes after dark.

Integrated 4G LTE gives the unit its own mobile data connection with a SIM card, so live maps and streaming don't depend on your phone's hotspot.

Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) connects the unit to a hotspot or your home network for app downloads and updates.

GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS and Galileo satellite systems are all supported, which helps the unit keep an accurate position in towns and on open roads. Navigation apps run directly on the unit, as well as through your phone.

You can cast your phone's screen to the head unit wirelessly, handy for an app that doesn't run in CarPlay or Android Auto. It's best for passengers or when parked.

The wide screen can show two apps side by side, or a picture-in-picture window, so the map stays visible while you change the music.

Bluetooth 5.1 handles audio streaming, and the built-in microphone picks up your voice for calls and voice control. The factory Bluetooth system is kept as well.

The original backup camera display stays in use. The unit also supports front and rear AHD cameras, with a real-time reversing image that has a wide angle and night vision.

Compatible XTRONS cameras include the CAM1080, ACCAM10802, ACCAMAI01 and ACCAM716S (sold separately).

A dash cam can be connected to record the road ahead. XTRONS DVR025S, DVR027S, DVR028S, DVR030S and ACDVR2K01 dash cams are compatible and sold separately.

The steering wheel buttons keep working after fitting, so you can change the volume and track without reaching for the screen.

The unit supports XTRONS accessories for DAB radio (such as the USBDAB04 or ACUSBDAB05T), OBD readers (OBD01S to OBD04), TPMS tyre pressure sensors (TPMS07 or TPMS08) and external microphones (MIC001, MIC002, MIC003, ACMIC005 or ACMIC010). Each is sold separately.
