XTRONS QGB24CIB12FV is a 12.3 inch 2K Android 14 screen for the BMW 5 Series F10 and F11 with the CIC system, 2011-2012. It replaces the factory display and works alongside the original stereo, so the CD player, radio and iDrive stay while you gain wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and 4G.

Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects to your iPhone without a cable once paired. Maps, music, calls and messages fill the 12.3 inch screen, and Siri takes voice requests.
Wireless Android Auto
Android phones connect to Android Auto wirelessly, with Google Maps, music apps and Google Assistant on the head unit.
12.3 inch 2K IPS screen
The 12.3 inch IPS panel runs at QHD 2K (2400 x 900), with G+G touch and full lamination for a sharp picture and fewer reflections. The wide format leaves room for a map and music controls side by side.
Built-in 4G LTE
Fit a SIM card and the unit has its own connection for streaming, live navigation and sharing internet with passengers. It covers a wide range of FDD-LTE, TDD-LTE and WCDMA bands, and a 4G antenna is supplied.
Dual-band Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands lets the unit join a hotspot or home network for app downloads and updates.
External microphone option
For clearer hands-free calls, add an external XTRONS microphone such as the ACMIC005 and mount it near the driver.
DAB+ with an add-on
DAB+ digital radio needs an external XTRONS DAB tuner, such as the USBDAB01 or ACUSBDAB06, sold separately.
Reversing camera
An XTRONS reversing camera, including AHD 1080P models such as the ACCAM10802, can be added so the view behind shows on the screen.
Snapdragon 680 and Android 14
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 is built on 6nm technology, with 4 x Kryo 265 Gold and 4 x Kryo 265 Silver cores reaching up to 2.4GHz. With 8GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB storage, apps open quickly and there's room for plenty of them.
XTRONS dash cams, OBD2 scanners and TPMS sensors can be added later.

- For BMW 5 Series F10 F11 (2011-2012) with CIC System
- This unit ONLY works with the original BMW CIC system. A CIC system car radio usually comes with independent slots for CD and DVD, a 10-pin LVDS port, and a BMW Car Communication Computer Interface.
- Please see XTRONS QGB24NB12FV if your vehicle comes with a NBT system.
- Please see XTRONS QGB24EVB12FVN if your vehicle comes with a EVO system.
- If your car comes with NO audio AUX input or the AUX port is not functioning, you will need to order an FM transmitter to aid the installation. (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.)
The screen is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display in CIC cars, with an ISO wiring harness, audio cable, fix mount, plastic bracket and screws supplied. Sound plays through the car's AUX input, so make sure AUX is enabled; without a working AUX input you'll need an FM transmitter such as the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03.
How do I know if my 5 Series has CIC?
A CIC radio usually has separate CD and DVD slots, a 10-pin LVDS port and a BMW Car Communication Computer interface. For NBT choose the QGB24NB12FV, and for EVO the QGB24EVB12FVN.
Will I keep the CD player and iDrive?
Yes. The unit works alongside the original stereo, so the CD player, radio and iDrive stay.
What if my car has no AUX input?
You'll need an FM transmitter. The XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.
Is CarPlay wireless?
Yes. CarPlay and Android Auto both connect wirelessly.
