The XTRONS QLBX44FVNB is a 14.9 inch 2K Android 14 screen for the BMW 5 Series F10/F11 (2013-2016) with the original NBT system. It adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in 4G and a DSP, and the original CD player stays in place.

For the F10 and F11 with NBT
This unit only works with the original BMW NBT system. NBT usually has a 6-pin LVDS port, a MEDIA button or touch pad on the iDrive controller and a BMW ConnectedDrive interface, though a ConnectedDrive screen alone doesn't prove it.

The Android screen works alongside the original system, so the CD player doesn't need to come out.
14.9 inch ultra-wide 2K screen
The 14.9 inch Grade-A 2K IPS screen has a 32:9 shape, so the map and another app can share the display without switching. It's fully laminated with a custom bezel and a 2.5D edge.
Wireless CarPlay
CarPlay connects your iPhone without a cable and spreads maps, music and messages across the wide screen. Voice commands keep your hands on the wheel.
Wireless Android Auto
Android Auto also works wirelessly, with Google Maps, music and calls on the display.
Android 14 with 256GB
A 12nm octa-core chip with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB ROM runs Android 14, with space for plenty of apps and music.
Built-in 4G
Insert a SIM card and the unit has its own 4G connection for navigation, video and online apps. A 4G antenna is in the box.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the unit to a home network or hotspot.
DSP
The DSP lets you adjust the sound to the car's speakers and your seating position.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the head unit for apps outside CarPlay and Android Auto.
USB
A USB cable is in the box for connecting a phone or USB device.
Microphone
A mini microphone comes in the box for hands-free calls and voice commands.

The unit is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display, and the CD player stays in place. Sound plays through the car's AUX input, which must be switched on. If your car has no AUX input, you'll need an FM transmitter such as the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03.
How do I know if my 5 Series has NBT?
NBT usually has a 6-pin LVDS port and a MEDIA button or touch pad on the iDrive controller.
Which unit do I need for CIC or a G30?
The XTRONS QLBX44FVCI for CIC, or the QLBX44FVEV3 for a G30/G31 with EVO.
What if my car has no AUX input?
You'll need an FM transmitter such as the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03.
Do I keep the CD player?
