XTRONS QLBX44FVCI is a 14.9 inch 2K Android 14 screen for the BMW 5 Series F10/F11 with the CIC system, 2011-2012. It replaces the factory display and works with the original system, adding wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and built-in 4G.

14.9 inch ultra-wide 2K screen
The 14.9 inch Grade-A 2K IPS screen has a 32:9 aspect ratio, so navigation and music can sit side by side without switching tabs.
It's slim and fully laminated, with a custom bezel and a 2.5D edge that give the dashboard the look of a newer BMW.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects to your iPhone without a cable. Maps, music, calls and messages spread across the wide screen, and voice commands keep your hands on the wheel.
Wireless Android Auto
Android phones connect wirelessly to Android Auto, with Google Maps, music apps and Google Assistant on the head unit.
Built-in 4G
Insert a SIM card into the supplied 4G SIM card slot and the head unit has its own data for navigation, video and apps. The 4G antenna is in the box.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi lets the head unit join a phone hotspot or home network for downloads and updates.
Built-in DSP
The built-in DSP lets you adjust the sound settings to suit the car and its speakers.
Mini microphone for calls
A mini microphone comes in the box for hands-free calls and voice commands. Mount it near the driver for clear voice pickup.
USB
A USB cable is supplied for connecting a phone or playing media from a USB stick.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's screen on the head unit for apps outside CarPlay and Android Auto. Use it when parked.
DAB radio with an add-on
DAB digital radio works with an external DAB adapter, sold separately.
12nm octa-core performance
A 12nm octa-core chip (2xCortex-A75 + 6xCortex-A55) runs Android 14 with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB storage, so there's space for offline maps, music and plenty of apps.
The original CD player doesn't need to come out.

This is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display in CIC cars, and the original CD player stays in place. Check your system first: NBT cars need the XTRONS QLBX44FVNB, and G30 cars with the EVO system need the QLBX44FVEV3.
How do I know if my 5 Series has CIC?
A CIC system has a 4-pin LVDS port and a CD button on the iDrive controller. A Car Information Computer interface alone doesn't confirm it.
My car has NBT. Which model do I need?
Choose the XTRONS QLBX44FVNB. NBT cars have a 6-pin LVDS port and a MEDIA button or touch pad on the iDrive controller.
Do I have to remove the CD player?
No. The original CD player doesn't need to be removed.
How much storage does it have?
It has 8GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB storage.
