A 14.9 inch ultra-wide Android 14 screen for the BMW 5 Series G30 and G31 (from 2018) with the EVO system. It works alongside the original system, keeps the CD player, and adds wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and 4G.

14.9 inch ultra-wide 2K screen
The 14.9 inch Grade-A 2K IPS screen has a 32:9 aspect ratio, wide enough to show a map and another app side by side without switching back and forth.
It's slim and fully laminated, with a custom bezel and 2.5D edge that gives it the look of a newer BMW screen.
Android with the original BMW system
The screen blends Android with the 5 Series' original EVO system, and you don't need to remove the CD player.
After fitting, gesture control can't be activated. When you switch back to the original system the touch screen doesn't work there, so you use the iDrive controller as before.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects without a cable, so your iPhone's maps, calls and music appear on the wide screen while the phone stays in your pocket.
Wireless Android Auto
Android Auto connects wirelessly too, putting Google Maps and your music apps on the dash.
Octa-core with 8GB RAM
A flagship 12nm octa-core chip (2xCortex-A75 + 6xCortex-A55) with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB of solid state storage runs Android 14 with room for plenty of apps and offline maps.
Built-in 4G
Insert a SIM card in the supplied slot and the unit has its own 4G connection for navigation, video and games. It supports 99% of carriers worldwide, but check your SIM works in this kind of device.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the screen to a phone hotspot or your home network for updates and streaming.
DSP
The built-in DSP lets you adjust the sound settings to suit the car and what you listen to.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the 14.9 inch screen, for apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto.
USB
A USB cable comes in the box for connecting a phone or USB drive.
Mini microphone
A mini microphone is included. Fitted near the driver, it picks up your voice clearly for calls and voice commands.
External DAB
Digital radio is supported with an external DAB tuner connected to the unit.

- Note: An "ID5" or "ID6" interface does not guarantee that you have the EVO system.

- After installation the gesture control function cannot be activated and the touch function cannot work when you switch to original system (you can use the iDrive controller to control them on your original system).
It's a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display, connected with the supplied ISO wiring harness, audio box and audio cable. Check your car has EVO first: it has a 6-pin LVDS port and the version info shows NBTevo_xxxx and Automatic map update. Cars with NBT need QLBH44FVNB, and cars with CIC need QLBH44FVCI.
How do I check if my car has EVO?
EVO has a 6-pin LVDS port, and the version info shows NBTevo_xxxx and Automatic map update. The look of the iDrive screen on its own doesn't prove it.
My car has NBT or CIC. Which unit do I need?
QLBH44FVNB for NBT, or QLBH44FVCI for CIC.
Will the touch screen work on the BMW system?
No. On the original system you use the iDrive controller, and gesture control can't be activated after fitting.
Will I lose the CD player?
No. The original CD player doesn't need to be removed.
