A 12.3 inch widescreen Android 14 unit that replaces the factory display in the BMW X5 F15 and X6 F16 (2014-2017) with the NBT system. It adds wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and built-in 4G in an OEM-style screen.

Made for the X5 F15 and X6 F16 with NBT
This screen replaces the factory display in the X5 F15 and X6 F16 from 2014-2017 with the NBT system. An NBT radio usually has a Media button, a touch pad controller, a 6-pin LVDS port and the BMW NBT interface. Modified or updated menus can make the system harder to identify, so check the hardware too.
CIC cars need QWBX24CIB12X5L (left-hand drive) or QWBX24CIB12X5R (right-hand drive), and EVO cars need QWBX24EVB12X5N.
It runs Android 14 on a Qualcomm 685 octa-core processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, which leaves plenty of room for apps, music and offline maps.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
Your iPhone links to the screen without a cable, bringing maps, calls, messages and music to the 12.3 inch display. The phone can stay in your pocket on every trip.
Wireless Android Auto
Android phones connect wirelessly too. Google Maps, your music apps and messages show on the wide screen, and voice commands handle most tasks.
12.3 inch IPS touch screen
The widescreen IPS display is fully laminated, which keeps it clear from both front seats and cuts reflections. It plays 4K video when you're parked up.
Built-in 4G
The unit has its own 4G connection once a SIM card is fitted, so live traffic and streaming don't depend on your phone. A 4G antenna is supplied.
Wi-Fi
Connect to a phone hotspot or your home Wi-Fi to download apps and updates.
Screen mirroring
Mirror your phone's screen onto the display to use apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto.
Microphone support
The unit supports a microphone for hands-free calls and voice control, so callers can hear you while your hands stay on the wheel.
DAB with an external receiver
DAB radio needs an external DAB receiver, which the unit supports. It isn't built in.
USB
A USB cable comes with the unit for connecting a phone or a USB stick of music and video.

The unit is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display and connects with the supplied ISO wiring harness. Sound goes through the car's AUX input, so AUX must be enabled. If the car has no AUX input or it doesn't work, you'll need an FM transmitter (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 is compatible).
Does it fit an X5 with CIC or EVO?
No. CIC cars need QWBX24CIB12X5L (left-hand drive) or QWBX24CIB12X5R (right-hand drive), and EVO cars need QWBX24EVB12X5N.
How do I recognise an NBT system?

What if my car has no AUX input?
