BMW X5 E70 and X6 E71 CIC 10.25 inch Android Screen with Wireless CarPlay and 4G | QWBX14X5CI

This screen only works with the original BMW CIC system in the X5 E70 and X6 E71 from 2011-2013. A CIC radio usually has a CD button, a 4-pin LVDS port and a BMW CIC interface. For CCC cars, choose the XTRONS QWBX14X5CC; for NBT, the QWBX24NB12X5N.

If the car's interface has been modified or updated, it can be harder to tell which system you have, so check before ordering.

It runs Android 14 on a Qualcomm 685 octa-core processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, leaving plenty of room for maps, music and apps.

CarPlay connects your iPhone without a cable, so maps, music and calls show on the wide screen while the phone stays in your pocket.

Android Auto also works wirelessly. Google Maps, your music apps and messages appear in a layout made for driving.

The 10.25 inch IPS touch screen is fully laminated, which cuts reflections and keeps the picture clear from both front seats. It plays 4K video, so films look sharp when you're parked up.

With a SIM card, built-in 4G gives the unit its own data connection for live maps and streaming. A 4G antenna is in the box.

Wi-Fi lets the unit join a hotspot or your home network for app downloads and updates.

The unit has its own GPS navigation with a GPS antenna supplied, so you can run a sat nav app on the screen as well as using your phone's maps.

The unit supports an external DAB tuner, sold separately, for digital radio.

Screen mirroring puts your phone's display on the 10.25 inch screen, useful for apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto. It's best used when parked or by a passenger.

An external microphone can be connected for clearer hands-free calls and voice commands.
