The XTRONS QBBH14CIB12X3 is a 10.25 inch 2K widescreen Android 14 head unit for left-hand drive BMW X3 F25 models (2011-2013) with the CIC system. It replaces the factory display and adds wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and 4G.
- Wireless CarPlay and wireless Android Auto
- Qualcomm 662 octa-core with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage on Android 14
- 10.25 inch 2K fully laminated IPS touch screen
- Built-in 4G and Wi-Fi

Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects to your iPhone without a cable, so maps, messages and music appear on the 10.25 inch screen while the phone stays in your pocket.
It reconnects each time you start the car.
Your iPhone connects on its own when you start the car, so there's no cable to plug in. It needs an iPhone with wireless CarPlay support; check yours in Settings > General > CarPlay. A cable still works when you'd rather charge on the way.
Wireless Android Auto
Android Auto is wireless too, with Google Maps, calls and music on the screen and controlled by touch or voice.
Maps, calls, messages and music from your Android phone appear on the car screen, with Google Assistant for voice control. It needs a phone with Google services, which most Android phones have. To connect without a cable, the phone must support wireless Android Auto too.
10.25 inch 2K IPS screen
The fully laminated 2K IPS touch screen takes the place of the factory display. Lamination cuts reflections, and IPS keeps the picture clear from the passenger seat.
Qualcomm 662 and Android 14
A Qualcomm 662 octa-core processor runs Android 14 with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, enough for apps, music and offline maps.
Built-in 4G
4G is built in and a 4G antenna is included. With a data SIM, online maps and streaming work without tethering your phone.
A SIM card in the head unit gives it its own internet connection for maps, traffic and streaming, so it doesn't need your phone's hotspot. You supply the SIM and the data plan; a data-only SIM is usually the cheapest way to do it.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the unit to a hotspot or your home network for app downloads and updates.
DAB with an adapter
DAB radio is supported with an external DAB adapter, which is sold separately.
Digital radio gives clearer sound and more stations than FM where there's DAB coverage. It needs a DAB aerial: a stick-on windscreen aerial is the usual choice, or a splitter if your car already has a combined FM and DAB aerial.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the unit, handy for apps outside CarPlay and Android Auto while parked.
Mirroring shows your phone's whole screen on the car screen, unlike CarPlay and Android Auto, which show apps designed for driving. It usually needs a companion app on the phone, and paid video streaming apps often block it.
Microphone for calls
The unit supports a microphone for hands-free calls and voice commands.
USB
A USB cable is included for media from a USB stick or a wired phone connection.

- For Left-hand Driving BMW X3 F25 (2011-2013) with CIC System
- BMW X3 F25 (2010-2017)
- Note: This unit is for BMW vehicles that come with a CIC system.
- If your car comes with NO audio AUX input or the AUX port is not functioning, you will need to order an FM transmitter to aid the installation. (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.)
| Make | Model | Years | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| BMW | X3 (F25) | 2010–2017 |
This is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display and only works with the original BMW CIC system. Sound plays through the car's AUX input, which must be enabled; without a working AUX input you'll need an FM transmitter such as the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03. An ISO wiring harness and installation instructions are included.
Does it fit a right-hand drive X3?
This version is listed for left-hand drive X3 F25 cars with CIC. Check your car's details before ordering.
How do I know if my X3 has CIC?
A CIC system usually has a CD button, a 4-pin LVDS port and a BMW CIC interface. For NBT, choose the XTRONS QBBH14NB12X3 instead.
What if my car has no AUX input?
The unit needs the AUX input for sound. Without a working one, add an FM transmitter; the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.
