A 14.9-inch Android 14 screen upgrade for the BMW X1 E84 (2009-2015) with the CIC system. It works alongside the original BMW system, so the CD player stays in place, and adds wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, built-in 4G and a DSP.

14.9-inch fully laminated IPS screen
The 14.9-inch screen has a 2560×720 resolution and a slim, fully laminated design with a custom bezel and 2.5D edge, so it looks at home in the X1's dashboard.
IPS technology keeps the picture clear from the passenger seat, and the wide format gives room for a large map with other information alongside.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
Your iPhone connects wirelessly, with no cable needed. Maps, calls and music appear on the big screen, and voice commands let you control them without reaching for the phone.
Android Auto
Android phones connect through Android Auto without wires as well, putting navigation, calls and music on the dashboard in an easy layout.
Works with the original BMW system
Android sits alongside the car's CIC system rather than replacing it, and the original CD player doesn't have to come out. You can still use the BMW functions you're used to and switch to Android when you want apps or phone mirroring.
Built-in 4G
Insert a SIM card and the unit has its own 4G connection for navigation, video and streaming, without relying on your phone's hotspot. A 4G antenna is included.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi lets the unit join a hotspot or your home network to download apps and updates.
Built-in DSP
The built-in DSP gives you control over how the sound is shaped, so you can balance it to suit the X1's cabin and speakers.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring turns the head unit into a display for your phone, so you can use phone apps that aren't available in CarPlay or Android Auto.
Mini microphone for calls
A mini microphone is supplied for hands-free calls and voice commands. Mount it near the driver for the clearest pickup.
DAB with an external tuner
Connect an external DAB tuner to receive digital radio. The tuner is a separate accessory.
Performance and camera support
A 12nm octa-core chip (2xCortex-A75 + 6xCortex-A55) runs Android 14 with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 128GB of solid state storage, so apps open quickly and 2K video plays smoothly.
The unit also supports an AHD camera.

- 1. This unit ONLY works with the original BMW CIC system. A CIC system car radio usually comes with a 4-pin LVDS port, a "CD" button on the iDrive controller and a BMW "Car Information Computer" interface.
- Note: A "Car Information Computer" interface does not guarantee that you have the CIC system.
- 2. If your car comes with NO audio AUX input, you will need an adapter to aid the installation. XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 (not included) are compatible. Connect the XTRONS unit to your car's AUX input for audio functionality. Ensure AUX is enabled to enjoy the full audio experience with our head unit.
The screen is for X1 E84 cars with the CIC system, which usually has a 4-pin LVDS port, a CD button on the iDrive controller and a Car Information Computer interface. The original CD player doesn't need to be removed. Sound plays through the car's AUX input, so AUX needs enabling; without an AUX input you'll need the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03 adapter.
How do I know if my X1 has the CIC system?
A CIC radio usually has a 4-pin LVDS port, a CD button on the iDrive controller and a Car Information Computer interface. The interface alone doesn't guarantee it's CIC.
My X1 has NBT, EVO or no screen. Which model do I need?
For NBT, the XTRONS QLBX44X1NB3. For EVO, the QLBX44X1EV3. With no original display, the QLBX44X1UN3.
Do I have to remove the CD player?
No. The original CD player stays where it is.
What if my car has no AUX input?
You'll need an adapter: the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03.
Can I connect a reversing camera?
The unit supports an AHD camera.
