A 2K widescreen Android 14 display made as a plug-and-play replacement for the factory screen in left-hand drive BMW 5 Series F10 and F11 cars (2013-2016) with the NBT system. It adds wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and 4G, on a Qualcomm 662 octa-core processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Made for left-hand drive F10 and F11 with NBT
This screen is for left-hand drive 5 Series F10 and F11 cars from 2013-2016 with the NBT system. An NBT radio usually has a Media button, a touch pad controller, a 6-pin LVDS port and the BMW NBT interface.
Cars with CIC need the XTRONS QBBH14CIB12FV, and cars with EVO need the QBBH14EVB12FVN. If you're unsure which system you have, check before ordering.
Wireless CarPlay
Your iPhone connects without a cable, so maps, calls and music appear on the widescreen display while the phone stays in your pocket.
Your iPhone connects on its own when you start the car, so there's no cable to plug in. It needs an iPhone with wireless CarPlay support; check yours in Settings > General > CarPlay. A cable still works when you'd rather charge on the way.
Wireless Android Auto
Android phones connect wirelessly to Android Auto, with navigation, music and messages on the big screen.
Maps, calls, messages and music from your Android phone appear on the car screen, with Google Assistant for voice control. It needs a phone with Google services, which most Android phones have. To connect without a cable, the phone must support wireless Android Auto too.
2K IPS screen
The fully laminated 2K IPS touch screen keeps text sharp and colours clear from both front seats, in a wide format that suits the dashboard.
Built-in 4G
With a SIM card fitted, the unit has its own 4G connection for live traffic, streaming and updates. A 4G antenna is supplied.
A SIM card in the head unit gives it its own internet connection for maps, traffic and streaming, so it doesn't need your phone's hotspot. You supply the SIM and the data plan; a data-only SIM is usually the cheapest way to do it.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the screen to a hotspot or your home network for app downloads and updates.
Screen mirroring
Mirror your phone onto the display for apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto.
Mirroring shows your phone's whole screen on the car screen, unlike CarPlay and Android Auto, which show apps designed for driving. It usually needs a companion app on the phone, and paid video streaming apps often block it.
Microphone
An external microphone can be used for clearer hands-free calls.
DAB with an external tuner
DAB radio is supported with an external DAB tuner, sold separately.
Digital radio gives clearer sound and more stations than FM where there's DAB coverage. It needs a DAB aerial: a stick-on windscreen aerial is the usual choice, or a splitter if your car already has a combined FM and DAB aerial.
USB
A USB cable is included for connecting a phone or memory stick.

The screen replaces the factory display and connects with the supplied ISO wiring harness. Sound plays through the car's AUX input, so AUX must be enabled. If the car has no AUX input or it doesn't work, you'll need an FM transmitter such as the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03.
Does it fit a right-hand drive UK car?
This version is for left-hand drive F10 and F11 cars. Check your car before ordering.
My car has CIC or EVO. Which unit do I need?
CIC cars need the QBBH14CIB12FV and EVO cars need the QBBH14EVB12FVN.
What if my car has no AUX input?
You'll need an FM transmitter; the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.
Is CarPlay wireless?
Yes. It has wireless CarPlay and wireless Android Auto.
