XTRONS QWBX24NB12FV is a 12.3 inch widescreen Android 14 head unit that replaces the factory display in the BMW 5 Series F10 and F11 with the NBT system, 2013-2016. It's plug and play and adds wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and built-in 4G.

Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects to your iPhone without a cable. Maps, music, calls and messages fill the wide screen, and Siri handles voice requests while you drive.
Wireless Android Auto
Android phones connect wirelessly to Android Auto, with Google Maps, music apps and Google Assistant on the head unit.
12.3 inch IPS screen
The widescreen 12.3 inch IPS panel is fully laminated, so there's no air gap between the glass and the display. The picture is clearer and reflections are reduced.
It plays 4K video files for passengers while you're parked.
Built-in 4G
Fit a SIM card and the head unit has its own data for live traffic, streaming and updates. The 4G antenna comes in the box.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the unit to a phone hotspot or home network for downloads and updates.
Microphone for calls
Microphone support means hands-free calls and voice control through the head unit.
DAB radio with an add-on
DAB digital radio works with an external DAB adapter, sold separately.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's screen on the head unit for apps outside CarPlay and Android Auto. Use it when parked.
Qualcomm 685 and Android 14
A Qualcomm 685 octa-core processor runs Android 14 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, plenty for offline maps, music and apps.

- For BMW 5 Series F10 F11 (2013-2016) with NBT System
- This unit ONLY works with the original BMW NBT system. A NBT system car radio usually comes with Media button, touch pad controller, a 6-pin LVDS port and a BMW NBT Interface.
- For CIC system, please buy XTRONS QWBX24CIB12FV;
- For EVO system, please buy XTRONS QWBX24EVB12FVN;
- If your car comes with NO audio AUX input or the AUX port is not functioning, you will need to order an FM transmitter to aid the installation. (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.)
This is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display, with an ISO wiring harness supplied. It connects to the car's AUX input for sound, so make sure AUX is enabled; without a working AUX input you'll need an FM transmitter such as the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03.
How do I know if my 5 Series has NBT?
An NBT radio usually has a Media button, a touch pad controller, a 6-pin LVDS port and the BMW NBT interface. For CIC choose the QWBX24CIB12FV, and for EVO the QWBX24EVB12FVN.
What if my car has no AUX input?
You'll need an FM transmitter. The XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.
Is CarPlay wireless?
Yes. CarPlay and Android Auto both connect wirelessly.
