The XTRONS QWBX8460CC is an 8.8 inch Android 14 head unit that replaces the factory display in BMW 3 Series, M3, 5 Series and M5 models (2005-2008) with the CCC system. It adds wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and 4G in an OEM-style widescreen.

Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects to your iPhone without a cable, putting maps, messages and music on the 8.8 inch screen. The phone stays in your pocket.
It reconnects each time you start the car, so there's nothing to plug in.
Wireless Android Auto
Android Auto is wireless too, with Google Maps, calls and music on the screen for Android phone users.
8.8 inch laminated IPS screen
The fully laminated IPS touch screen sits where the factory display was, in an OEM style. Lamination cuts reflections, and IPS keeps the picture clear from the passenger seat.
It also plays 4K video, best watched while parked.
Qualcomm 685 and Android 14
A Qualcomm 685 octa-core processor runs Android 14 with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage, leaving room for apps, music and offline maps.
Built-in 4G
4G is built in and a 4G antenna is included. With a data SIM, online maps and streaming work without tethering your phone.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the unit to a hotspot or your home network for app downloads and updates.
DAB with an adapter
DAB radio is supported with an external DAB adapter, which is sold separately.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the unit, handy for apps outside CarPlay and Android Auto while parked.
Microphone for calls
The unit supports a microphone for hands-free calls and voice commands.
USB
A USB cable is included for media from a USB stick or a wired phone connection.

- This unit ONLY works with the original BMW CCC system. A CCC system car radio usually comes with both CD and DVD slot, a 10-pin LVDS port, a BMW CCC Interface.
- If your car comes with NO audio AUX input or the AUX port is not functioning, you will need to order an FM transmitter to aid the installation. (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.)
This is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display and only works with the original BMW CCC system. Sound plays through the car's AUX input, which must be enabled; without a working AUX input you'll need an FM transmitter such as the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03. An ISO wiring harness and installation instructions are included.
How do I know if my car has CCC?
A CCC system usually has both a CD and a DVD slot, a 10-pin LVDS port and a BMW CCC interface. A modified or updated interface can make it harder to identify.
My car has CIC. Which unit do I need?
For CIC, choose the XTRONS QWBX8460CI.
What if my car has no AUX input?
The unit needs the AUX input for sound. Without a working one, add an FM transmitter; the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.
