A 12.3 inch Android 14 screen made as a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display in right-hand drive BMW 3 Series, 4 Series, M3 and M4 models from 2013-2016 with the NBT system. It adds wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and 4G, on a Qualcomm 685 octa-core processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Made for right-hand drive NBT cars
This screen is for right-hand drive F30, F31, F34 and F35 3 Series, F32, F33 and F36 4 Series, F80 and F81 M3 and F82 and F83 M4 models from 2013-2016 with the NBT system.
An NBT radio usually has a Media button, a touch pad controller, a 6-pin LVDS port and the BMW NBT interface. Left-hand drive NBT cars need the QWBX24NB12THL, and cars with the EVO system need the QWBX24EVB12THR (right-hand drive) or QWBX24EVB12THL (left-hand drive).
Wireless CarPlay
Your iPhone connects without a cable, so maps, calls and music show on the 12.3 inch screen while the phone stays in your pocket.
Your iPhone connects on its own when you start the car, so there's no cable to plug in. It needs an iPhone with wireless CarPlay support; check yours in Settings > General > CarPlay. A cable still works when you'd rather charge on the way.
Wireless Android Auto
Android phones connect wirelessly to Android Auto, with navigation, music and messages on the wide display.
Maps, calls, messages and music from your Android phone appear on the car screen, with Google Assistant for voice control. It needs a phone with Google services, which most Android phones have. To connect without a cable, the phone must support wireless Android Auto too.
12.3 inch IPS screen
The fully laminated IPS touch screen is a wide format that suits the BMW dash, with good viewing angles from both front seats. It plays 4K video.
Built-in 4G
With a SIM card fitted, the unit has its own 4G connection for live traffic, streaming and updates. A 4G antenna is supplied.
A SIM card in the head unit gives it its own internet connection for maps, traffic and streaming, so it doesn't need your phone's hotspot. You supply the SIM and the data plan; a data-only SIM is usually the cheapest way to do it.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the screen to a phone hotspot or your home network for app downloads and updates.
Screen mirroring
Mirror your phone onto the display for apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto.
Mirroring shows your phone's whole screen on the car screen, unlike CarPlay and Android Auto, which show apps designed for driving. It usually needs a companion app on the phone, and paid video streaming apps often block it.
Microphone
An external microphone can be used for clearer hands-free calls.
DAB with an external tuner
DAB radio is supported with an external DAB tuner, sold separately.
Digital radio gives clearer sound and more stations than FM where there's DAB coverage. It needs a DAB aerial: a stick-on windscreen aerial is the usual choice, or a splitter if your car already has a combined FM and DAB aerial.
USB
A USB cable is included for connecting a phone or memory stick.

The screen replaces the factory display and connects with the supplied ISO wiring harness. Sound plays through the car's AUX input, so AUX must be enabled. If the car has no AUX input or it doesn't work, you'll need an FM transmitter such as the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03.
Does it fit left-hand drive cars?
No. This version is for right-hand drive. Left-hand drive NBT cars need the QWBX24NB12THL.
My car has the EVO system. Which unit do I need?
The QWBX24EVB12THR for right-hand drive or the QWBX24EVB12THL for left-hand drive.
What if my car has no AUX input?
You'll need an FM transmitter; the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.
Is CarPlay wireless?
Yes. It has wireless CarPlay and wireless Android Auto.
