A 14.9-inch Android 14 screen upgrade for the BMW X5 F15 and X6 F16 (2014-2017) with the NBT system. It works alongside the original BMW system, so the CD player stays in place, and adds wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, built-in 4G and a DSP.

14.9-inch ultra-wide 2K IPS screen
The 14.9-inch Grade-A 2K IPS screen has a 2560×720 resolution and an ultra-wide 32:9 aspect ratio, so you can keep the map, music and other apps on show together without switching between them.
It has a slim, fully laminated design with a custom bezel and 2.5D edge, made to suit the X5 and X6 dashboards, and IPS keeps the picture clear from the passenger seat.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
Your iPhone connects wirelessly, with no cable needed. Maps, calls and music appear on the big screen, and voice commands let you control them without reaching for the phone.
Android Auto
Android phones connect through Android Auto without wires, putting navigation, calls and music on the dashboard in an easy layout.
Works with the original BMW system
Android sits alongside the car's NBT system rather than replacing it, and the original CD player doesn't have to come out. You can still use the BMW functions you're used to and switch to Android when you want apps or phone mirroring.
Built-in 4G
Insert a SIM card and the unit has its own 4G connection for navigation, video and streaming, without relying on your phone's hotspot. A 4G antenna is included.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi lets the unit join a hotspot or your home network to download apps and updates.
Built-in DSP
The built-in DSP gives you control over how the sound is shaped, so you can balance it to suit the cabin and speakers.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring turns the head unit into a display for your phone, so you can use phone apps that aren't available in CarPlay or Android Auto.
Mini microphone for calls
A mini microphone is supplied for hands-free calls and voice commands. Mount it near the driver for the clearest pickup.
USB
A USB cable is included for connecting a phone or a USB stick with your music and video.
DAB with an external tuner
Connect an external DAB tuner to receive digital radio. The tuner is a separate accessory.
Performance
A 12nm octa-core chip (2xCortex-A75 + 6xCortex-A55) runs Android 14 with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 256GB of solid state storage. There's room for a large music and video library, and apps open quickly.
The unit plays 2K video and supports an AHD camera.

The screen is for X5 F15 and X6 F16 cars with the NBT system, which has a 6-pin LVDS port and a MEDIA button or touch pad on the iDrive controller. The original CD player stays where it is. Check your system before ordering, as CCC, CIC and EVO cars each need a different model.
How do I know if my car has NBT?
NBT has a 6-pin LVDS port and a MEDIA button or touch pad on the iDrive controller. A CarConnectDrive interface alone doesn't confirm it.
My car has CCC or CIC. Which model do I need?
For a right-hand drive car, the XTRONS QLBX44X5CCR3 for CCC or the QLBX44X5CIR3 for CIC.
My car has EVO. Which model do I need?
The XTRONS QLBX44X5EV3.
Do I have to remove the CD player?
No. The original CD player stays where it is.
Can I fit a reversing camera?
The unit supports an AHD camera.
