A 14.9 inch 2K Android 14 screen made as a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display in right-hand drive BMW X5 E70 and X6 E71 models (2007-2010) with the CCC system. The original CD player stays, and you gain wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and 4G on an ultra-wide display.

Made for right-hand drive CCC cars
This screen is for right-hand drive X5 E70 and X6 E71 cars from 2007-2010 with the CCC system. CCC has separate CD and DVD slots and a 10-pin LVDS port.
It works with the car's original system, so the CD player stays in place. Left-hand drive CCC cars need the QLBX44X5CCL; CIC cars need the QLBX44X5CIR3 (right-hand drive) or QLBX44X5CIL (left-hand drive); NBT cars need the QLBX44X5NB and EVO cars the QLBX44X5EV3.
14.9 inch ultra-wide 2K screen
The 14.9″ Grade-A 2K IPS screen has a 32:9 aspect ratio, so a map and another app fit on screen together without switching tabs.
It's slim and fully laminated, with a custom bezel and 2.5D edge.
Wireless CarPlay
Your iPhone connects without a cable, so maps, calls and music appear on the wide screen as you set off.
Your iPhone connects on its own when you start the car, so there's no cable to plug in. It needs an iPhone with wireless CarPlay support; check yours in Settings > General > CarPlay. A cable still works when you'd rather charge on the way.
Wireless Android Auto
Android phones connect wirelessly to Android Auto, with navigation and music on the big display.
Maps, calls, messages and music from your Android phone appear on the car screen, with Google Assistant for voice control. It needs a phone with Google services, which most Android phones have. To connect without a cable, the phone must support wireless Android Auto too.
Built-in 4G
Insert a SIM card and the built-in 4G module gives the unit its own internet connection for navigation, video and streaming. A 4G antenna and SIM card slot are included.
A SIM card in the head unit gives it its own internet connection for maps, traffic and streaming, so it doesn't need your phone's hotspot. You supply the SIM and the data plan; a data-only SIM is usually the cheapest way to do it.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the screen to a hotspot or your home network for app downloads and updates.
DSP
The built-in DSP lets you adjust the sound to suit the cabin and your taste.
The sound processor lets you tune the sound to your car: an equaliser, a delay for each speaker so the sound centres on your seat, and crossovers that keep deep bass away from small speakers. Start from a preset and change one setting at a time.
Microphone
A mini microphone is included for clearer hands-free calls.
Screen mirroring
Mirror your phone onto the display for apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto.
Mirroring shows your phone's whole screen on the car screen, unlike CarPlay and Android Auto, which show apps designed for driving. It usually needs a companion app on the phone, and paid video streaming apps often block it.
USB
A USB cable is included for phones and memory sticks.
DAB with an external tuner
DAB radio is supported with an external tuner, sold separately.
Digital radio gives clearer sound and more stations than FM where there's DAB coverage. It needs a DAB aerial: a stick-on windscreen aerial is the usual choice, or a splitter if your car already has a combined FM and DAB aerial.

The screen replaces the factory display and connects with the supplied ISO wiring harness and audio cable; a fix mount holds it in place, and there's no need to remove the CD player. Confirm your car has CCC before ordering: separate CD and DVD slots and a 10-pin LVDS port. A "Car Communication Computer" menu alone doesn't prove it.
