A 12.3 inch 2K widescreen Android 14 unit that replaces the factory display in the BMW X3 F25 and X4 F26 (2016-2018) with the EVO system. It adds wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and built-in 4G with an OEM-style look.

Made for the X3 and X4 with EVO
This screen is for the X3 F25 and X4 F26 (2016-2018) with the EVO system, which usually shows the EVO ID5 /EVO ID6 interface with the time displayed at the end. For CIC choose QWBX24CIB12X3, and for NBT choose QWBX24NB12X3. If you're not sure which system you have, check the VIN or ask your dealer.
After fitting, gesture control can't be activated, and touch doesn't work on the original BMW system; you use the iDrive controller there instead.
Android 14 runs on a Qualcomm 685 octa-core processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, so there's room for plenty of apps, music and offline maps.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
Your iPhone connects without a cable and puts maps, calls, messages and music on the 12.3 inch screen. Leave it in your pocket and it links up each time you drive.
Wireless Android Auto
Android phones also connect wirelessly. Google Maps, your music and messages appear on the wide display and respond to voice commands.
12.3 inch 2K IPS screen
The 2K IPS panel is fully laminated, so it stays sharp and readable from both front seats with fewer reflections. It plays 4K video when parked.
Built-in 4G
Fit a SIM card and the unit has its own 4G data for live traffic and streaming, without using your phone's hotspot. The 4G antenna is supplied.
Wi-Fi
Join your phone's hotspot or your home Wi-Fi to download apps and updates.
Screen mirroring
Mirror your phone's screen to the display for apps that don't work in CarPlay or Android Auto.
Microphone support
The unit supports a microphone for hands-free calls and voice control.
DAB via an external receiver
DAB radio works with an external DAB receiver, which the unit supports. It's not built in.
USB
Two USB cables are included: one connects to the car's original USB, the other lets you plug in a phone or a USB stick.

- This unit ONLY works with the original BMW EVO system. A EVO system car radio usually comes with EVO ID5 /EVO ID6 Interface and time displayed at the end.

- After installation the gesture control function cannot be activated and the touch function will not work when you switch to your original system (you can use the iDrive controller to control it on the original system).
The unit is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display and connects with the supplied ISO wiring harness, with a second cable for the car's original USB. Check your car has the original EVO system before ordering, as modified or updated menus can make it hard to tell.
Will it fit an X3 F25 with NBT or CIC?
No. NBT cars need QWBX24NB12X3 and CIC cars need QWBX24CIB12X3.
Does touch work on the BMW menus?
No. On the original system you use the iDrive controller, and gesture control can't be activated after fitting.
How much storage does it have?
8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Does it have DAB?
It supports an external DAB receiver, sold separately.
