A 7 inch Android 15 head unit made to fit the BMW E46 3 Series, Rover 75 and MG ZT. It adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in 4G and a QLED screen, with a DSP and optical, coaxial and RCA outputs for anyone who wants to build up the sound system.

Wireless Apple CarPlay
Your iPhone connects over Wi-Fi without a cable, so maps, calls and music come up on the 7 inch screen when you set off. If you'd rather charge as you drive, plug in with USB for wired CarPlay instead.
Siri works as usual, so you can ask for directions or send a message without taking your hands off the wheel.
Android Auto
Android phones get Android Auto both wirelessly and over USB. Google Maps, your music apps and messages all appear on the head unit's screen.
Google Assistant can handle calls and navigation by voice.
7 inch QLED touch screen
The 7 inch Grade-A IPS QLED touch screen runs at 1280×720. Colours are strong and the wide viewing angles mean a passenger can read the map too.
IPS panel
Because it's an IPS panel, the picture stays clear when it's seen from the side rather than straight on, which matters in a car where the screen sits in the middle of the dash.
DSP sound tuning
The built-in DSP DQ7603 lets you shape the sound to suit your car's speakers and cabin. You can tune it so the music sounds right from the driver's seat rather than leaning towards the nearest speaker.
4x45W amplifier
An STMicroelectronics TCB001HQ amplifier rated at 4x45W drives the speakers directly, so there's no need for a separate amplifier for a standard speaker set.
RCA, optical and coaxial outputs
RCA outputs, plus optical and coaxial audio outputs, let you add an external amplifier or sound processor later. An RCA cable is included.
Built-in 4G
There's a 4G LTE modem inside. Put in a standard nano SIM card and the unit has its own internet connection for live traffic, streaming and apps, without tethering to your phone.
A 4G antenna comes in the box.
Dual-band Wi-Fi
Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz & 5GHz) gives a faster, steadier connection to a hotspot or your home network, which helps with app downloads and updates.
Bluetooth 5.4
Bluetooth 5.4 handles hands-free calling and music streaming from your phone. A microphone is included to place near the driver for clearer calls.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's screen on the head unit, which is useful for apps that don't run through CarPlay or Android Auto.
Reversing camera input
The unit supports 720P/1080P AHD cameras and switches to the camera picture when you select reverse. The camera connection is part of the wiring harness, and a camera cable is included. The camera itself is sold separately.
DAB+ ready
The radio has an RDS-FM/AM tuner and is DAB+ ready. For digital stations you'll need to add an external DAB tuner.
USB
A USB cable is included for wired CarPlay and Android Auto, along with an original USB cable for connecting to the car.

- Caution: Please make sure that all the functions operate properly before trimming.
The unit comes with an ISO wiring harness, CANbus box and radio antenna adapter. Check your centre console for an air-conditioning cover like the one in the photos, as it needs removing. If the radio antenna port is in the boot, you'll need the XTRONS ISOFZ and FZMF extension cables; cars with a factory DSP button need the AKEXL007FZMF extension cable. In the Rover 75 and MG ZT the trim on both sides of the unit has to be cut, and cars with a 36pin radio harness need the AK/PSP9046B/ISOCBL02 harness, so test every function before trimming.
Can I use my own SIM card?
Yes. Put a standard nano SIM card into the built-in 4G LTE modem for internet access.
Is CarPlay wireless or wired?
Both. You can connect wirelessly or plug in with USB, and the same goes for Android Auto.
Does it work with a reversing camera?
Yes. It supports 720P/1080P AHD cameras and shows the camera picture when you select reverse. The camera is sold separately.
Does it have DAB?
It's DAB+ ready, but you'll need an external DAB tuner to receive digital stations.
Will it fit my Rover 75 or MG ZT without changes?
Not quite. The trim on both sides of the unit has to be cut, and if your radio harness is 36pin you'll also need the AK/PSP9046B/ISOCBL02 harness.
