BMW 5 Series E60 E61 CIC 14.9 inch Android Screen with Wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and 4G | QLBH4460CI

The screen is made for E60 and E61 cars with the original CIC system and sits alongside it, so you don't have to remove the CD player. A CIC radio usually has a 4-pin LVDS port, a CD button on the iDrive controller and a BMW Car Information Computer interface, though that interface on its own doesn't guarantee CIC.

Sound from the unit plays through the car's AUX input, which must be enabled. If your car has no AUX input, you'll need an adapter; XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 (not included) is compatible.

The 14.9 inch IPS screen runs at 2560×720 and is fully laminated, with a slim custom bezel and a 2.5D edge. The wide format keeps a map and your music in view together, and IPS keeps colours accurate from both front seats. It also plays 2K video.

Your iPhone connects to CarPlay without a cable, putting maps, calls and music on the wide screen and leaving the phone in your pocket. Voice commands let you use it without taking your eyes off the road.

Android Auto connects wirelessly as well, so Google Maps, calls and music apps run on the dashboard.

The unit can act as a wireless display and controller for an iOS or Android phone, so apps outside CarPlay and Android Auto can be shown on screen.

A 4G SIM card slot comes in the box. Insert a SIM card and the unit has its own data connection for navigation, video and streaming, without tethering your phone.

Wi-Fi lets the unit join a hotspot or your home network for updates and app downloads.

A GPS antenna is supplied, so navigation apps on the unit can track your position on the 14.9 inch screen.

The built-in DSP lets you adjust the unit's sound to suit your car.

A mini microphone is in the box. Mount it near the driver for clearer hands-free calls and voice commands.

Add an XTRONS DAB+ tuner (USBDAB01, USBDAB02, USBDAB04, ACUSBDAB05T or ACUSBDAB06) for digital radio.

The unit supports AHD cameras. XTRONS cameras that work with it include CAM005, CAM009S, ACCAM716S, CAM1080, ACCAM10802 and ACCAMAI01, giving you a clear view behind when parking.

Add an XTRONS DVR such as DVR025S, DVR027S, DVR028S, DVR030S or ACDVR2K01 to record your journeys.

With an XTRONS OBD scanner (OBD01S, OBD02, OBD03 or OBD04) the screen can show trouble codes from the car in real time, so you know what a fault is before you decide what to do.

An XTRONS TPMS kit (TPMS07 or TPMS08) shows each tyre's pressure on the head unit as you drive.

A 12nm octa-core chip (2xCortex-A75 + 6xCortex-A55) runs Android 14 with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB of solid state storage, so apps open quickly and there's space for music and maps.
