Made for the BMW CCC system
The screen blends Android with the 5 Series' original CCC system, and the original CD player stays. It only works with the original CCC system, which usually has both CD and DVD slots, a 10-pin LVDS port and the CCC interface.
The 14.9″ unit is slim and fully laminated, with a custom bezel and 2.5D edge that make it look like part of a newer car.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects without any wiring, so your iPhone stays in your pocket. Maps, calls and music appear on the wide screen and Siri takes voice requests.
Wireless Android Auto
Android phones connect wirelessly, with Google Maps, music and calls on screen and voice control through Google Assistant.
Built-in 4G
Insert a SIM card and the 4G module gives the unit its own connection for navigation, video and streaming. The 4G antenna and SIM card slot are in the box.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi lets the unit join a phone hotspot or home network for downloads and updates.
DSP sound settings
A DSP lets you adjust the sound to suit the car's speakers and your taste.
USB
A USB cable comes with the unit for phones and USB sticks with music or video.
Mini microphone for calls
A mini microphone is included for hands-free calls and voice commands. Mount it near the driver.
DAB+ with an external tuner
Digital radio works with an external DAB tuner, sold separately.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the 14.9″ screen, useful for apps outside CarPlay and Android Auto when parked.
Octa-core performance
A 12nm Octa-core chip (2xCortex-A75 + 6xCortex-A55) runs Android 14 with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB storage, so apps open quickly and there's space for offline maps.
