XTRONS QLBX4492CC3 is a 14.9 inch 2K Android 14 screen for the BMW 3 Series E90, E91, E92, E93 and M3 with the CCC system, 2004-2008. It replaces the factory display and works with the original system, so the CD player stays, while adding wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and built-in 4G.

14.9 inch ultra-wide 2K screen
The 14.9 inch Grade-A 2K IPS screen has a 32:9 aspect ratio, so navigation and music can sit side by side without switching tabs.
It's slim and fully laminated, with a custom bezel and a 2.5D edge that give the E90's dashboard the look of a newer BMW.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects to your iPhone without a cable. Maps, music, calls and messages spread across the wide screen, and voice commands keep your hands on the wheel.
Your iPhone connects on its own when you start the car, so there's no cable to plug in. It needs an iPhone with wireless CarPlay support; check yours in Settings > General > CarPlay. A cable still works when you'd rather charge on the way.
Wireless Android Auto
Android phones connect wirelessly to Android Auto, with Google Maps, music apps and Google Assistant on the head unit.
Maps, calls, messages and music from your Android phone appear on the car screen, with Google Assistant for voice control. It needs a phone with Google services, which most Android phones have. To connect without a cable, the phone must support wireless Android Auto too.
Built-in 4G
Insert a SIM card into the supplied 4G SIM card slot and the head unit has its own data for navigation, video and apps. The 4G antenna is in the box.
A SIM card in the head unit gives it its own internet connection for maps, traffic and streaming, so it doesn't need your phone's hotspot. You supply the SIM and the data plan; a data-only SIM is usually the cheapest way to do it.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi lets the head unit join a phone hotspot or home network for downloads and updates.
Built-in DSP
The built-in DSP lets you adjust the sound settings. Audio plays through the car's AUX input, so make sure AUX is enabled.
The sound processor lets you tune the sound to your car: an equaliser, a delay for each speaker so the sound centres on your seat, and crossovers that keep deep bass away from small speakers. Start from a preset and change one setting at a time.
Mini microphone for calls
A mini microphone comes in the box for hands-free calls and voice commands. Mount it near the driver for clear voice pickup.
USB
A USB cable is supplied for connecting a phone or playing media from a USB stick.
Screen mirroring
The head unit can act as a wireless display for your iOS or Android phone. Use mirroring when parked.
Mirroring shows your phone's whole screen on the car screen, unlike CarPlay and Android Auto, which show apps designed for driving. It usually needs a companion app on the phone, and paid video streaming apps often block it.
DAB radio with an add-on
DAB digital radio works with an external DAB adapter, sold separately.
Digital radio gives clearer sound and more stations than FM where there's DAB coverage. It needs a DAB aerial: a stick-on windscreen aerial is the usual choice, or a splitter if your car already has a combined FM and DAB aerial.
12nm octa-core performance
A 12nm octa-core chip (2xCortex-A75 + 6xCortex-A55) runs Android 14 with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB storage, so there's space for offline maps, music and plenty of apps.

- This unit ONLY works with the original BMW CCC system. A CCC system car radio usually comes with Both CD and DVD Slots, a 10-pin LVDS port and the CCC Interface.
- If your car comes with NO audio AUX input, you will need an adapter to aid the installation. XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 (not included) are compatible.
This is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display in CCC cars, with an ISO wiring harness, audio cable, fix mount and face panel supplied. It connects to the car's AUX input for sound; without an AUX input you'll need an adapter such as the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03.
How do I know if my E90 has CCC?
A CCC radio usually has both CD and DVD slots, a 10-pin LVDS port and the CCC interface.
Do I have to remove the CD player?
No. The original CD player doesn't need to be removed.
What if my car has no AUX input?
You'll need an adapter. The XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.
