XTRONS QDB8060CI is an 8.8″ Android screen for the BMW 3 Series E90-E93 and 5 Series E60/E61 from 2009-2012 with the CIC system. It keeps the CD player, radio and iDrive, and adds wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and 4G.

Works with the original CIC system
The screen matches the original dashboard and works alongside the CIC system, so the CD player, radio and iDrive stay. You swipe the screen to move between Android and the BMW functions.
It only works with CIC, which has a 4-pin LVDS port and a CD button on the iDrive controller. A "Car Information Computer" interface alone doesn't prove it's CIC.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects wirelessly, so your iPhone stays in your pocket while maps, calls and music show on screen. Siri handles voice requests.
Android Auto, wireless or wired
Android Auto works wirelessly or by cable, with Google Maps, music and calls on the screen and Google Assistant for voice control.
8.8” IPS screen
The 8.8” display runs at 1280×480 with Grade-A G+G touch. The IPS panel keeps colours consistent from every seat.
Built-in 4G LTE
The 4G LTE module supports European and Asian networks. With a SIM fitted, the unit stays online for navigation and streaming, and a 4G antenna is in the box.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi lets it join a phone hotspot or home network for downloads and updates.
DSP sound settings
A DSP lets you adjust the sound to suit your speakers and taste.
USB
A USB cable is included for wired Android Auto and for playing files from a USB stick.
Microphone for calls
The unit supports a microphone for hands-free calls and voice commands.
DAB+ with an external tuner
Digital radio works with an external DAB tuner, sold separately.
Screen mirroring
Mirror your phone's display to the car screen to share photos or use an app outside CarPlay and Android Auto, ideally when parked.
Octa-core performance
An Octa-Core A55 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage keeps multitasking smooth and leaves space for your apps and maps.
