A 10.25 inch Android screen for left-hand drive BMW 3 Series E90, E91, E92 and E93 cars (2008-2012) that left the factory without a display. It adds a touch screen with wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, 4G and navigation, while the CD player, radio and iDrive stay in place.

A screen for cars that never had one
This unit is for left-hand drive E90, E91, E92 and E93 3 Series cars from 2008-2012 with no original display. It adds a 10.25 inch touch screen to the top of the dash, and the CD player, radio and iDrive all keep working.
Fitting may mean cutting a permanent hole in the dashboard. If your car has a storage box on top of the dash, removing the box makes room instead, so no cutting is needed. A template sticker is supplied to help mark the hole accurately.
Wireless CarPlay
CarPlay connects wirelessly, so your iPhone's maps, calls and music appear on the screen. Siri handles voice commands.
Your iPhone connects on its own when you start the car, so there's no cable to plug in. It needs an iPhone with wireless CarPlay support; check yours in Settings > General > CarPlay. A cable still works when you'd rather charge on the way.
Android Auto
Android Auto works wirelessly or with a cable, putting navigation and music on the big screen, with Google Assistant for voice control.
Maps, calls, messages and music from your Android phone appear on the car screen, with Google Assistant for voice control. It needs a phone with Google services, which most Android phones have. To connect without a cable, the phone must support wireless Android Auto too.
10.25 inch IPS screen
The 10.25” display runs at 1920×720 with Grade-A G+G touch glass. The IPS panel keeps colours consistent from every seat.
Built-in 4G
The 4G LTE module supports European and Asian networks. With a SIM card fitted, you have a steady connection for navigation, music streaming and online video. A 4G antenna is included.
A SIM card in the head unit gives it its own internet connection for maps, traffic and streaming, so it doesn't need your phone's hotspot. You supply the SIM and the data plan; a data-only SIM is usually the cheapest way to do it.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the screen to a hotspot or home network for app downloads and updates.
Screen mirroring
Mirror your phone's display to the car screen for apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto.
Mirroring shows your phone's whole screen on the car screen, unlike CarPlay and Android Auto, which show apps designed for driving. It usually needs a companion app on the phone, and paid video streaming apps often block it.
USB
A USB cable is included for phones and memory sticks.
Microphone
An external microphone can be used for clearer hands-free calls.
DAB with an external tuner
DAB radio is supported with an external tuner, sold separately.
Digital radio gives clearer sound and more stations than FM where there's DAB coverage. It needs a DAB aerial: a stick-on windscreen aerial is the usual choice, or a splitter if your car already has a combined FM and DAB aerial.

The screen mounts on top of the dashboard. Cars without a storage box on top need a permanent hole cutting, and a template sticker is supplied to help locate it accurately; cars with the storage box only need the box removed.
Does it fit cars that already have a factory screen?
No. It's only for E90, E91, E92 and E93 cars with no original display.
Will I need to cut the dashboard?
Possibly. If there's a storage box on top of the dash, removing it is enough. Otherwise a permanent hole is needed, and a template sticker is supplied.
Is it for right-hand drive cars?
No. This unit is for left-hand drive vehicles.
Do I keep the CD player and iDrive?
Yes. The CD player, radio and iDrive stay in use.
