Your iPhone connects to the head unit over Wi-Fi, so maps, calls and music appear on the 7 inch screen without plugging in. A USB cable connection works too if you prefer wired CarPlay.

Android phones can run Android Auto wirelessly or over USB. Google Maps, your music apps and messages show on the dashboard and can be controlled by voice.

Use wired mode on long drives if you want the phone charging at the same time.

The 7 inch QLED panel shows colours strongly, which helps map details and album artwork stand out.

It's a touch screen with a 1280×720 resolution.

The screen is an IPS type, so it stays clear when you glance at it from the driver's seat or when a passenger looks across from the other side.

The built-in DSP DQ7603 lets you shape the sound to suit your car, adjusting the balance and tone so it doesn't just come from the nearest door speaker.

It works with the built-in STMicroelectronics TCB001HQ amplifier rated at 4x45W.

This unit does not support a factory amplifier system, so check your car doesn't have one before ordering.

RCA outputs let you add an external amplifier or subwoofer later. There are also optical and coaxial audio outputs for connecting digital sound processors or amplifiers.

An RCA cable is in the box.

Put a standard nano SIM card in the unit and it has its own 4G LTE internet for maps, streaming and apps, so you don't need your phone's hotspot.

The 4G antenna is supplied.

Wi-Fi runs on 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The unit uses it for wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, and you can also join a hotspot or home network for app updates.

The receiver uses GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BEIDOU satellites for positioning. A GPS antenna comes with the unit, so you can run navigation apps without relying on your phone.

Mirror your phone onto the head unit's screen to use apps that aren't part of CarPlay or Android Auto. Screen mirroring works over a USB connection.

The built-in RDS-FM/AM tuner covers ordinary radio. For DAB+ digital radio, add an external DAB+ tuner, which the unit supports.

Bluetooth 5.4 handles hands-free calls and music streaming. A microphone is supplied so callers can hear you clearly.

The supplied external microphone can be mounted near the driver, which picks up your voice better for calls and voice commands than a microphone inside the dashboard.

The unit supports 720P/1080P AHD cameras, and the picture comes up when you select reverse. The camera connection is part of the wiring harness and a camera cable is included.

A USB cable is supplied for wired CarPlay and Android Auto, screen mirroring and playing media from a USB stick.
