XTRONS IMHP94M211 is a 9″ Android 14 head unit for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class W211 and CLS-Class W219. It brings wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in 4G and an AKM DSP, while CANbus keeps factory features such as ACC and door reminders.

Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects over Wi-Fi without a cable, so your iPhone can stay put. Maps, calls, messages and music come up on the 9″ screen, and Siri takes requests by voice.
Wireless Android Auto
Android phones connect wirelessly too, putting Google Maps, music apps and calls on the head unit with voice control.
9″ QLED touch screen
The 9″ QLED screen has a 1280×720 resolution behind G+G tempered glass. It's bright and anti-glare, so maps stay readable in sunshine, and 1080P video plays smoothly when parked.
IPS viewing angles
As an IPS panel it keeps its colours from an angle, which helps the passenger see what's on screen.
AKM 7604 DSP
The AKM 7604 DSP gives 36-band equalisation, so you can adjust the sound to suit the car's speakers and cabin.
TDA7851 amplifier
The built-in TDA7851 amplifier is rated at 4x 48W output, enough to drive the factory speakers without a separate amp.
Optical, coaxial and RCA outputs
Fibre-optic, coaxial and RCA outputs make it easy to add an external amplifier later. An RCA cable is supplied.
Global 4G LTE
Insert a standard Micro-SIM and the unit has its own data connection for real-time traffic, weather and streaming, with no tethering. The 4G antenna comes in the box.
Dual-band Wi-Fi
Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4G/5G) runs wireless CarPlay and Android Auto and can join a hotspot for app and map downloads.
Two Bluetooth modules
Qualcomm and Unisoc Bluetooth modules work side by side. One streams music from your phone with Qualcomm aptX HD, and the Unisoc 5.2 link connects accessories such as OBD-II scanners or dash cams.
OBD-II scanner connection
An OBD-II scanner, sold separately, can connect over the Unisoc Bluetooth link so you can read engine data on the screen.
DAB+ with an external tuner
Digital radio is available once an external DAB tuner is added. The tuner is sold separately.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the 9″ screen, handy for apps outside CarPlay and Android Auto when you're parked.
GPS navigation
A GPS antenna is included and navigation apps run on the unit itself. With 4G connected, maps can show live traffic.
Steering wheel controls and factory features
CANbus integration keeps factory features such as ACC and door reminders. The steering wheel control adapter means volume, track and call buttons carry on working.
Gyroscope and performance
A built-in gyroscope and inclinometer show real-time roll and pitch with no extra sensors.
The Unisoc 7865 Octa-Core chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage runs Android 14, and the unit is rated from -30°C to +80°C.

- For Japanese-manufactured vehicles, this unit is not Plug and Play. Additional cable modification is required, which should be carried out by a professional installer.
The unit works with the car's original wiring harness and comes with two ISO harnesses, a CANbus box and antenna adapters. To keep COMAND APS NTG 1 (E-class 2003-2008, CLS 2004-2008) you'll need the FOBB01 optical decoder; NTG 2.5 cars need FOBB03 and AK24540P. Some cars need a power cable, optical decoder, radio antenna and antenna adapter (AK/PSP90M211/PWRC, AK/PF7M211A/FOBB01 and EC/ARL/RANT01), so check your power port first. Japanese-built cars need cable modification by a professional installer.
Will it fit my E-Class?
It fits the W211 (2002-2009) and CLS W219 (2004-2010) with a trapezoidal centre console and a trim strip above. If there's a screen above the centre console, choose QBMH2440M12EL for left-hand drive or QBMH2440M12ER for right-hand drive.
Can I keep my COMAND system?
Yes, with an extra decoder that's not included: FOBB01 for NTG 1, or FOBB03 with AK24540P for NTG 2.5.
Will the CD changer and air conditioning display still work?
No. The CD changer and original motorised compartment stop working, and the unit doesn't show air conditioning information.
What SIM card does it take?
A standard Micro-SIM in the global 4G LTE module.
