XTRONS QAMS1450M12CLS is a 10.25″ Android 14 screen for the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class W218/C218 (2014-2017) with COMAND APS NTG 5.1 or 5.2. It keeps the CD player, radio and COMAND, and adds wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and 4G.

Android alongside COMAND
The screen is made for the CLS-Class with the later COMAND APS NTG systems. The CD player, radio and COMAND stay, and a swipe takes you between them and Android.
These systems usually have a 4 pin LVDS port and the newer Telematic Generation menus. Check your system version before ordering.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects wirelessly, so your iPhone stays in your pocket while maps, music and calls show on the 10.25″ screen. Siri takes voice requests.
Your iPhone connects on its own when you start the car, so there's no cable to plug in. It needs an iPhone with wireless CarPlay support; check yours in Settings > General > CarPlay. A cable still works when you'd rather charge on the way.
Android Auto, wireless or wired
Android Auto works wirelessly or over USB. Google Maps, music apps and calls move onto the screen, and Google Assistant handles voice commands.
Maps, calls, messages and music from your Android phone appear on the car screen, with Google Assistant for voice control. It needs a phone with Google services, which most Android phones have. To connect without a cable, the phone must support wireless Android Auto too.
Built-in 4G
Put a SIM card (not included) in the independent 4G module and the unit gets online by itself for navigation and video. It can share a hotspot with passengers as well.
A SIM card in the head unit gives it its own internet connection for maps, traffic and streaming, so it doesn't need your phone's hotspot. You supply the SIM and the data plan; a data-only SIM is usually the cheapest way to do it.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the unit to a phone hotspot or home network for app downloads and updates.
DSP sound settings
The DSP lets you adjust the sound to suit your speakers and taste.
The sound processor lets you tune the sound to your car: an equaliser, a delay for each speaker so the sound centres on your seat, and crossovers that keep deep bass away from small speakers. Start from a preset and change one setting at a time.
USB
The USB connection carries wired Android Auto and plays music and video files from a USB stick.
Microphone for calls
A microphone handles hands-free calls and voice commands to Siri or Google Assistant.
DAB+ with an external tuner
Digital radio works with an external DAB tuner, sold separately.
Digital radio gives clearer sound and more stations than FM where there's DAB coverage. It needs a DAB aerial: a stick-on windscreen aerial is the usual choice, or a splitter if your car already has a combined FM and DAB aerial.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring puts your phone's display on the 10.25″ screen, useful for apps outside CarPlay and Android Auto when you're parked.
Mirroring shows your phone's whole screen on the car screen, unlike CarPlay and Android Auto, which show apps designed for driving. It usually needs a companion app on the phone, and paid video streaming apps often block it.
Octa-core performance
An octa-core chip built on a 12nm process runs at up to 2.0GHz with a Mali G52 GPU. With 4GB DDR4 RAM and 64GB storage, maps and music run smoothly together.

The screen replaces the factory display and keeps COMAND in place. If your car has an AMI port, connect the supplied AMI cable to the "audio Out" port on the ISO cable. Confirm your COMAND version before ordering.

My CLS has NTG4.5 or NTG4.7. Will this fit?
No. Choose QAMS1445M12CLS for those systems.
Is a SIM card included?
