The XTRONS ID70DLRL is a 7 inch Android car stereo custom-fit for the Land Rover Freelander 2 (2007-2012). It adds CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in 4G, an adjustable EQ with a 4x45W amplifier and AHD camera support, while the factory radio stays available.
CarPlay puts your iPhone's maps, calls and music on the 7 inch screen with large touch controls, and Siri is available directly for voice commands.
Android phones run Android Auto on the screen, with Google Maps, calls and music apps and Google Assistant for hands-free control.
The built-in 4G module supports European and Asian networks, so with a SIM card the unit has its own connection for navigation, music streaming and online apps. A SIM card slot cable and 4G antenna are in the box.
The 7 inch Grade-A HD screen runs at 1024×600 with G+G touch glass for responsive control, and the IPS panel stays clear from the passenger side.
The DSP and EQ system let you shape the sound to suit the cabin and balance it across the car.
The TCB001HQ amplifier provides 4x45W and keeps the sound stable at different volume levels.
Wi-Fi lets the unit join a hotspot or your home network for app downloads and updates.
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the head unit, useful for apps outside CarPlay and Android Auto.
The unit has a microphone for hands-free calls and for talking to Siri or Google Assistant.
Two USB cables come with the unit for connecting your phone and playing media, including 1080P video.
The factory radio stays fully available after fitting. To use the XTRONS SI4755 radio with RDS you'll need an additional antenna, and an external DAB tuner adds digital stations.
The steering wheel controls will only control the vehicle's CD player, not the XTRONS unit.
The unit supports AHD cameras, and a camera cable is in the box for adding a reversing camera.
An octa-core A55 processor runs the optimised Android system with 4GB DDR4 RAM and 64GB of solid state storage. The unit doesn't have a DVD drive.

The ID70DLRL is custom-fit for the Freelander 2 and connects with the two supplied ISO wiring harnesses and the CANbus box. Check your centre console first: cars without a button panel or storage box, or with the small screen, won't take this unit. If your car has the original GPS navigation you'll also need a MOST fibre optic loop female connector such as XTRONS ICE/ACS/FIBERLOOP.
It fits the Freelander 2 from 2007 to 2012, but not cars without a button panel or storage box, or with the small screen.
Yes, the factory radio stays fully available. Using the XTRONS radio needs an additional antenna.
No. The steering wheel controls will only control the vehicle's CD player.
A MOST fibre optic loop female connector. XTRONS ICE/ACS/FIBERLOOP is compatible.
