Jeep Wrangler 9 inch Android 15 Head Unit with Wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and 4G | UAH95WLJL

Once your iPhone is paired, CarPlay comes up on the screen by itself when you start the Wrangler. Navigation, calls, messages and music sit in big, simple tiles, and the phone never has to leave your pocket.

On a long trip you can plug the phone in by USB instead and keep it charging while CarPlay runs wired.

Android Auto works wirelessly or over a USB cable. Google Maps or Waze, your messages and your music apps appear on the 9-inch screen, with large controls you can reach without stretching.

A 4G LTE modem is built in. Fit a standard nano SIM and the unit has its own internet connection for live maps, streaming and apps, so you don't have to keep a phone hotspot running.

A 4G antenna is included.

The QLED screen shows 1280×720 with rich, punchy colour, so map detail and album art are easy to read at a glance. You work it with taps and swipes like a phone.

Because the panel is IPS, the picture stays clear from the passenger seat as well as from behind the wheel. Your passenger can change the music or check the route without leaning over.

The DQ7603 DSP lets you adjust the sound to the Wrangler's cabin and speakers, so you can bring the music into balance rather than putting up with whatever the speaker positions give you.

A STMicroelectronics TCB001HQ amplifier rated at 4x45W powers the speakers directly. For a standard speaker setup, no extra amplifier is needed.

If you want to add an amplifier or subwoofer, there are RCA outputs, plus optical and coaxial audio outputs for external processors. An RCA cable comes in the box.

The unit connects to Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz or 5GHz, which is useful for downloading apps and updates from a home network or a phone hotspot.

It uses GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BEIDOU satellites to fix your position, which helps keep the map accurate on back roads and in town. A GPS antenna is supplied.

Screen mirroring puts your phone's own display on the head unit, handy for an app that isn't available in CarPlay or Android Auto. It works with the phone connected by USB.

Add an external DAB tuner and you can listen to DAB+ digital stations. The built-in RDS-FM/AM tuner covers FM and AM, with station names on screen.

Bluetooth 5.4 handles hands-free calls and audio streaming from your phone. The supplied microphone can be placed near the driver so callers hear you clearly.

The unit works with 720P and 1080P AHD cameras. Once one is connected, the camera view appears when you select reverse. The camera connection is in the wiring harness, and a camera cable is included.

An ASR8662 octa-core processor runs Android 15, with 6 GB of DDR4 RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage for your apps and music.

It starts from cold in 50 seconds and from a warm start in 1 second, and a cooling system keeps it running steadily on long drives.
