A custom-fit 7-inch Android car stereo for a range of Ford models, including the Focus ll, C-Max, S-Max, Galaxy, Fusion, Transit, Fiesta and Connect. It adds CarPlay, Android Auto and GPS navigation, with a 4x45W amplifier, to cars with a right-angled, longer centre console opening.

Apple CarPlay
Connect your iPhone and CarPlay puts maps, calls, messages and music on the 7-inch screen in large, simple tiles. Siri handles voice requests, so you can ask for directions or a playlist without picking up the phone.
Your iPhone connects on its own when you start the car, so there's no cable to plug in. It needs an iPhone with wireless CarPlay support; check yours in Settings > General > CarPlay. A cable still works when you'd rather charge on the way.
Android Auto
Android phones get Android Auto, with Google Assistant for voice control. Navigation, calls and music apps are easy to reach on the touch screen.
Maps, calls, messages and music from your Android phone appear on the car screen, with Google Assistant for voice control. It needs a phone with Google services, which most Android phones have. To connect without a cable, the phone must support wireless Android Auto too.
7-inch IPS touch screen
The 7-inch 1024×600 IPS display stays clear from an angle, so it's easy to read from both front seats. Grade-A G+G touch glass makes it responsive to taps and swipes.
A quick display window lets you choose between car speed, navigation or video at a glance.
Sound adjustment
The EQ system gives you plenty of control over the sound, so you can balance it for your Ford's cabin and speakers.
The sound processor lets you tune the sound to your car: an equaliser, a delay for each speaker so the sound centres on your seat, and crossovers that keep deep bass away from small speakers. Start from a preset and change one setting at a time.
4x45W TCB001HQ amplifier
The built-in TCB001HQ amplifier puts out 4x45W and keeps the sound steady from low to high volume.
The built-in amplifier drives your car's speakers directly, which is all most cars need. If your car has a factory amplifier, as many premium sound systems do, it usually stays in use and may need an adapter, so check before ordering.
Dual-band Wi-Fi
Dual-band Wi-Fi lets the unit connect to a phone hotspot or home network for downloading apps and updates.
Microphone for calls and voice control
The unit has a microphone for hands-free calls and for Siri or Google Assistant voice commands.
DAB with an external tuner
Add an external DAB tuner to receive digital radio stations. For FM, the built-in SI4755 radio shows RDS station information.
Digital radio gives clearer sound and more stations than FM where there's DAB coverage. It needs a DAB aerial: a stick-on windscreen aerial is the usual choice, or a splitter if your car already has a combined FM and DAB aerial.
RCA connection
An RCA cable comes with the unit for connecting extra audio or video equipment.
RCA pre-outputs send a clean, low-level signal to an external amplifier or subwoofer. Count the channels you need (front, rear and sub) against the outputs in the specifications. You'll also need RCA leads and power wiring for the amplifier.
USB
Two USB cables are included for connecting your phone or playing media files, including 1080P video.
CANbus decoding and camera support
An external CANbus decoder helps the stereo work smoothly with the car's electronics and reduces electromagnetic interference.
The unit supports AHD cameras, and a camera cable is included for a reversing camera.

The stereo fits Fords whose centre console opening is right-angled with the longer shape; an oval opening needs the XTRONS IDS70FSFBL instead, and short right-angled or flat face panels won't fit. Check the year, dimensions and shape of your console before ordering; the face panel is 235x120mm. Cars with a factory Bury or Parrot hands-free kit use a Ford 7+8 PIN harness and need extra ISO adapters.
How do I know if it fits my Ford?
Your centre console must be right-angled with the longer shape. For an oval-shaped console, look at the XTRONS IDS70FSFBL. Short right-angled and flat face panels won't fit.
Will it keep my Sync or Convers Plus display?
No. It doesn't support the original Sync function, Convers Plus, the original voice control or the reverse sensor function, and it doesn't show air conditioning information.
Does it work with a factory digital sound system?
No. It doesn't support a factory-fitted digital sound system.
My car has a Parrot hands-free kit. What do I need?
With a factory Bury or Parrot kit, the harness is the Ford 7+8 PIN type, and you'll need additional ISO adapters.
Can I add a reversing camera?
Yes. It supports AHD cameras, and a camera cable is included.
