XTRONS IDS70FSFBL is a 7″ Android head unit for the Ford Focus, Mondeo, C-Max, S-Max and Galaxy with an oval centre console. It replaces the factory radio with CarPlay, Android Auto and GPS navigation on an IPS touch screen.

Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay puts your iPhone's maps, calls and music on the 7” screen, where the buttons are bigger and easier to tap while driving. Siri is available directly, so you can ask for a route or a song by voice.
Your iPhone connects on its own when you start the car, so there's no cable to plug in. It needs an iPhone with wireless CarPlay support; check yours in Settings > General > CarPlay. A cable still works when you'd rather charge on the way.
Android Auto
Android phones get full-featured Android Auto. Google Maps, music apps and calls show on the head unit, and Google Assistant handles voice commands.
Maps, calls, messages and music from your Android phone appear on the car screen, with Google Assistant for voice control. It needs a phone with Google services, which most Android phones have. To connect without a cable, the phone must support wireless Android Auto too.
7” IPS touch screen
The 7” Grade-A HD screen runs at 1024×600 with G+G touch, so it responds well to a tap. As an IPS panel it stays clear when viewed from the side, and 1080P video plays back when you're parked.
DSP and EQ
The DSP and EQ system let you adjust the sound to suit your car and your music, so you can balance the audio across the cabin rather than living with the factory settings.
The sound processor lets you tune the sound to your car: an equaliser, a delay for each speaker so the sound centres on your seat, and crossovers that keep deep bass away from small speakers. Start from a preset and change one setting at a time.
TCB001HQ amplifier
The built-in TCB001HQ amplifier is rated at 4x45W and gives steady output at different volume levels.
The built-in amplifier drives your car's speakers directly, which is all most cars need. If your car has a factory amplifier, as many premium sound systems do, it usually stays in use and may need an adapter, so check before ordering.
Dual-band Wi-Fi
Dual-band Wi-Fi lets the unit join your phone's hotspot or your home network for app downloads, updates and online maps.
Microphone for calls
A microphone lets you make hands-free calls and use Siri or Google Assistant without picking up the phone.
DAB+ with an external tuner
Digital radio works once you add an external DAB tuner, sold separately. The SI4755 radio with RDS handles FM as standard.
Digital radio gives clearer sound and more stations than FM where there's DAB coverage. It needs a DAB aerial: a stick-on windscreen aerial is the usual choice, or a splitter if your car already has a combined FM and DAB aerial.
CANbus decoding and performance
External CANbus decoding helps the unit talk to the car reliably and reduces electromagnetic interference after the upgrade.
An Octa-Core A55 processor with 2GB DDR4 RAM and 64GB storage keeps multitasking smooth. It supports AHD cameras, and a camera cable comes in the box.

- Please ensure your car's central console is oval-shaped before purchasing, or the unit may not be compatible with your car.
- This unit doesn't support the Convers Plus function.
- This unit doesn't support your car's original Sync function.
The unit comes with an ISO wiring harness, a CANbus box and cable, and a radio cable adapter. Your centre console needs to be oval. If there's a quadratic face panel outside the rounded one, this unit won't fit and PX74QSFBL is the one to look at.
Will it fit my Ford?
It's for the Focus Ⅱ, Mondeo, C-Max and S-Max (2008-2011) and Galaxy Ⅱ (2006-2011) with an oval centre console. Check the dimensions on the S-Max and Galaxy before ordering.
Does it play CDs?
No, this unit doesn't play discs.
Will Sync and Convers Plus still work?
No. The unit doesn't support the car's original Sync function or Convers Plus.
Can I add a reversing camera?
Yes. It supports AHD cameras, and a camera cable is included.
