Ford Focus 2012-2017 9 inch Android Head Unit with Wireless CarPlay, 4G and HDMI Output | IQP94FSFP

This unit is a custom fit for the Ford Focus 2012-2017, with a 345/285x265mm face panel. It doesn't play discs.

Some cars need more than the supplied parts. If yours has a factory rear view camera and a non-touch screen larger than 4 inches, or a SYNC2 touchscreen, you'll need the XTRONS AK/PSP90FSF/PWRH cable, and the factory camera picture and SYNC2 won't work afterwards. It isn't compatible with an original LVDS backup camera or the original Sony audio system with a Sony subwoofer, so send us a photo of the connector if you're unsure.

CarPlay connects your iPhone wirelessly, so compatible apps such as maps and music appear on the 9 inch screen and voice commands work straight from the unit.

Full-featured Android Auto connects wirelessly or with a USB cable. Google Maps, music and messages appear in a layout made for driving.

The 9 inch quantum dot screen runs at 1280×720 and shows bright, detailed colour, so maps and video look sharp.

IPS technology gives the screen wide viewing angles, so the passenger sees the same clear picture as the driver.

The DSP and DTS decoding from the Si47925 audio processor give fully digital, lossless audio output with better resistance to interference. You can adjust the sound to suit the Focus cabin.

An automotive-grade TDA7808 digital amplifier chip drives the speakers efficiently for clean sound.

Optical and RCA audio outputs let you add an external amplifier or processor. An RCA cable is in the box.

The HDMI output sends video to a screen for the back seats, so passengers can watch a film while the driver keeps the map on the main screen.

With a SIM card, the unit has its own 4G LTE connection for navigation apps, streaming and sharing the internet with passengers. In Europe it supports bands 1, 3, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38 and 40. A 4G antenna is supplied.

Wi-Fi connects the unit to a hotspot or your home network for updates and app downloads.

Bluetooth is used to connect your phone for wireless CarPlay and wireless Android Auto.

The unit has its own GPS system with a GPS antenna supplied, so navigation apps run on the head unit even without a phone.

An external DAB tuner is supported for digital radio and is sold separately.

Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the head unit for apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto. It's best used when parked.

Two USB cables and an original USB adapter cable are included, so the factory USB socket can still be used with the new unit.

An external microphone can be connected for clearer hands-free calls and voice commands.

A camera cable is in the box for connecting an aftermarket reversing camera. Check the compatibility notes if your Focus already has a factory camera.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 is an 11nm, 64bit Octa-Core processor (4x Cortex A73 and 4x Cortex A53) running at up to 2.0GHz. With 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM it multitasks smoothly and has room for plenty of media, including 4K video.
