The XTRONS QLB22EVB12X5N is a 12.3 inch Android 13 screen for the BMW X5 F15 and X6 F16 with the NBT EVO system. It replaces the factory display with a fully laminated screen and adds wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and 4G, while the original CD player stays.

Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects to your iPhone without a cable, so maps, messages and music appear on the 12.3 inch screen while the phone stays in your pocket.
Wireless Android Auto
Android Auto also connects wirelessly, with navigation, calls and music controlled by touch or voice.
12.3 inch QLED screen
The 12.3 inch screen is fully laminated and ultra-slim with a tailor-made bezel. Lamination reduces reflections, so it stays readable in sunlight, and QLED gives strong colour.
IPS viewing angles
As an IPS panel, the screen stays clear from the passenger seat as well as the driver's.
Octa-core performance
A flagship 12nm octa-core chip (2xCortex-A75 2.0GHz + 6xCortex-A55) runs Android 13 with 4GB DDR4 RAM and 64GB of storage.
The unit works alongside the original system, and the CD player doesn't need removing. On the original system you use the iDrive controller, as touch and gesture control won't work there.
Built-in 4G
Insert a SIM card and the built-in 4G module gives the unit its own internet connection for navigation and streaming.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the unit to a hotspot or your home network for downloads and updates.
Built-in DSP
The built-in DSP lets you adjust the sound from the unit's settings to suit the car's speakers.
RCA audio output
An RCA audio output lets you connect an external amplifier later.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the head unit, useful for apps outside CarPlay and Android Auto while parked.
USB
USB lets you play media from a USB stick or connect a phone by cable.
Mini microphone
A mini microphone comes in the box. Placed near the driver, it picks up your voice clearly on calls.

- For BMW X5 F15 (2017-2018) with NBT EVO System
- For BMW X6 F16 (2017-2019) with NBT EVO System

- BMW X6 (2008 onwards)
- This unit ONLY works with the original BMW NBT EVO system. A NBT EVO system car radio usually comes with a 6-pin LVDS port, "NBTevo_xxxx" and "Automatic map update" shows on version info. Note: A "ID5" or "ID6" interface does not guarantee that you have the NBT EVO system.
The screen replaces the factory display and only works with the original BMW NBT EVO system; the CD player stays in place. After fitting, gesture control can't be activated, and the touch screen doesn't work when you switch to the original system, so use the iDrive controller there.
How do I know if my car has NBT EVO?
NBT EVO usually has a 6-pin LVDS port, and "NBTevo_xxxx" and "Automatic map update" show in the version info. The look of the interface on its own doesn't guarantee EVO.
My car has CCC, CIC or NBT. Which unit do I need?
For CCC, choose the XTRONS QLB22CCB12X5R (right-hand drive) or QLB22CCB12X5L (left-hand drive). For CIC, the QLB22CIB12X5R or QLB22CIB12X5L. For NBT, the QLB22NB12X5N.
Will gesture control still work?
No. Gesture control can't be activated after fitting, and on the original system you control things with the iDrive controller rather than by touch.
