A 14.9 inch Android 13 screen for the BMW X5 F15 and X6 F16 (2014-2017) with the NBT system. It works alongside the original system, keeps the CD player, and adds wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and 4G.

Android with the original BMW system
This 14.9 inch screen has a slim, fully laminated design with a custom bezel and 2.5D edge, made for these BMWs. It blends Android with the original NBT system, and you don't need to remove the CD player.
Sound from the Android side plays through the car's AUX input, which must be enabled. If there's no AUX input, you'll need an adapter (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible, not included).
Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects without a cable, so your iPhone's maps, calls and music appear on the wide screen while the phone stays in your pocket.
Wireless Android Auto
Android Auto connects wirelessly too, putting Google Maps and your music apps on the dash.
14.9 inch QLED screen
The QLED screen gives strong, rich colour across the full 14.9 inch width, so maps and media are easy to read at a glance.
IPS viewing angles
It's an IPS panel, so the picture stays clear from the passenger seat as well as from the driver's.
Octa-core with 4GB RAM

Built-in 4G
Insert a SIM card in the supplied slot and the unit has its own 4G connection for navigation, video and games. It supports 99% of carriers worldwide, but check your SIM works in this kind of device.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the screen to a phone hotspot or your home network for updates and streaming.
GPS navigation
A GPS antenna is in the box, so navigation apps work without your phone.
DSP
The built-in DSP lets you adjust the sound settings to suit the car and what you listen to.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the 14.9 inch screen, for apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto.
USB
A USB cable comes in the box for connecting a phone or USB drive.
Mini microphone
A mini microphone is included. Fitted near the driver, it picks up your voice clearly for calls and voice commands.
RCA audio output
The RCA audio output lets you connect an external amplifier if you want to add more power to the system.

It's a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display, with an ISO wiring harness, fix mount, face panel, screws and installation instructions supplied. Check your car has NBT first: it has a 6-pin LVDS port and a MEDIA button or touch pad on the iDrive controller. Audio runs through the car's AUX input, or an adapter if there isn't one.
How do I know if my car has NBT?
NBT has a 6-pin LVDS port and a MEDIA button or touch pad on the iDrive controller. A CarConnectDrive screen on its own doesn't prove it.
My car has CCC, CIC or NBT EVO. Which unit do I need?
For right-hand drive, QLB42X5CCR for CCC or QLB42X5CIR for CIC. For NBT EVO, QLB42X5EV.
What if my car has no AUX input?
You'll need an adapter. XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.
Will I lose the CD player?
No. The original CD player doesn't need to be removed.
