XTRONS IDP9053B is a 9″ Android head unit made for the BMW X5 E53. It replaces the factory radio with wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, built-in 4G and GPS navigation, and CANbus decoding keeps car information on screen.

Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay puts your iPhone's maps, calls and music on the 9” screen without a cable. Siri is available directly for voice requests.
Android Auto
Android phones get full-featured Android Auto, with Google Maps, music and calls on the big screen and Google Assistant for voice commands.
9” IPS touch screen
The 9” Grade-A HD screen runs at 1280×720 with G+G touch. It's an IPS panel, so the picture stays clear from the passenger seat, and it plays 1080P video when you're parked.
DSP and EQ
The DSP and EQ system let you adjust the sound for the X5's cabin and speakers, balancing the audio around the car.
TCB001HQ amplifier
The built-in TCB001HQ amplifier is rated at 4x45W and keeps output steady at different volumes.
Built-in 4G LTE
The 4G LTE module works on European and Asian networks. With a SIM fitted, the unit stays online for navigation and streaming. The 4G antenna and SIM card slot cable are in the box.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi lets the unit join a phone hotspot or home network for downloads and updates.
GPS navigation
A GPS antenna is supplied, so navigation apps run on the head unit itself as well as through CarPlay and Android Auto.
USB
Two USB cables come with the unit for phones and USB sticks with music or video.
Microphone for calls
The unit supports a microphone for hands-free calls and voice commands to Siri or Google Assistant.
DAB+ with an external tuner
Digital radio works with an external DAB tuner, sold separately. The SI4755 radio with RDS handles FM as standard.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the head unit, useful for apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto when parked.
CANbus decoding and performance
Optimised CANbus decoding keeps the car's original features working and shows information such as ACC control and mileage on the screen.
An Octa-Core A55 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage keeps things smooth. AHD cameras are supported, and a camera cable is included.

- Please check whether there is a frame in the centre console of your car. If so, please remove the frame before installing the unit.
If the radio antenna port is in the boot, you'll need two antenna extension cables (ICE/ACS/FZMF and ICE/ACS/ISOFZ). Cars with a 4.3" or 7" factory screen with a 12 pin plug, or a navigation drive in the rear, need a 6m extension cable such as EXL005 or EXL007, and a blue 12pin plug in the centre console needs ICE/ACS/BMWDSP01. Logic7 cars, or radios with fibre optic input and no 8 speaker wires, need the FOBB05 decoder to keep the factory amplifier. Cars with a DSP button or a Harman Kardon system need EXL007, and any frame in the centre console must be removed first.
My X5 has Logic7. Will I get sound?
You'll need the FOBB05 decoder to keep the factory amplifier and avoid a no-sound problem.
My radio antenna plugs in at the boot. What do I need?
Two radio antenna extension cables, such as ICE/ACS/FZMF and ICE/ACS/ISOFZ.
Does it play CDs?
No, this unit does not play discs.
Can I add a reversing camera?
Yes. It supports AHD cameras and a camera cable is in the box.
