The XTRONS QLBX44X3CI3 is a 14.9 inch ultra-wide 2K Android 14 screen for the BMW X3 F25 (2011-2013) with the original CIC system. It replaces the factory display, works alongside the car's original system, and adds wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and 4G.

14.9 inch ultra-wide 2K screen
The 14.9 inch Grade-A 2K IPS screen has a 32:9 aspect ratio, so there's room for a map and your music side by side without switching between them.
It's slim and fully laminated, with a custom bezel and a 2.5D edge that give the X3 a full-width display like newer BMWs. IPS keeps the picture clear for the passenger too.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects to your iPhone without a cable, so maps, messages and music appear across the wide screen while the phone stays in your pocket.
Wireless Android Auto
Android Auto connects wirelessly too, with Google Maps, calls and music on the screen and controlled by touch or voice.
Octa-core power and Android 14
A flagship 12nm octa-core chip (2xCortex-A75 + 6xCortex-A55) runs Android 14 with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB of storage. There's plenty of room for apps, music and offline maps.
The unit works alongside the car's original system, and the original CD player stays where it is.
Built-in 4G
Insert a SIM card and the built-in 4G module gives the unit its own internet connection for navigation and streaming. A 4G antenna and SIM card slot are included.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the unit to a hotspot or your home network for app downloads and updates.
GPS navigation
A GPS antenna is in the box, so navigation apps run on the head unit, with the wide screen showing a long stretch of road ahead.
DSP sound processor
The built-in DSP lets you adjust the sound from the unit's settings to suit the X3's cabin and speakers.
DAB with an adapter
DAB radio is supported with an external DAB adapter, which is sold separately.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the head unit, useful for apps outside CarPlay and Android Auto while parked.
USB
A USB cable is included for media from a USB stick or a wired phone connection.
Mini microphone
A mini microphone comes in the box. Placed near the driver, it picks up your voice clearly on hands-free calls.

The screen is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display and only works with the original X3 F25 CIC system. The original CD player doesn't need to be removed. An ISO wiring harness and audio cable are included.
How do I check my X3 has CIC?
A CIC car has a 4-pin LVDS port and a "CD" button on the iDrive controller. A "Car Information Computer" interface on its own doesn't guarantee CIC.
My X3 has NBT or EVO. Which unit do I need?
For NBT, choose the XTRONS QLBX44X3NB3. For EVO, choose the QLBX44X3EV3. Both NBT and EVO have a 6-pin LVDS port.
Do I lose the CD player?
No. The original CD player stays in place.
