XTRONS QWBX24EVB12X1N is a 12.3 inch 2K Android 14 screen that replaces the factory display in the BMW X1 F48 and X2 F39 with the EVO system. It's plug and play, adds wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and built-in 4G, and leaves the original system on the iDrive controller.

Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects to your iPhone without a cable. Maps, music, calls and messages fill the wide screen, and Siri handles voice requests while you drive.
Wireless Android Auto
Android phones connect to Android Auto wirelessly, with Google Maps, music apps and Google Assistant on the head unit.
12.3 inch 2K IPS screen
The widescreen 12.3 inch IPS panel has 2K resolution and is fully laminated, so there's no air gap between the glass and the display. The picture stays sharp and reflections are reduced.
It plays 4K video files, which passengers can watch while you're parked.
Built-in 4G
With a SIM card fitted, the head unit has its own data for live traffic, streaming and updates. The 4G antenna is in the box.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the head unit to a phone hotspot or home network for downloads and updates.
Microphone for calls
Microphone support means hands-free calls and voice control through the head unit, without picking up the phone.
DAB radio with an add-on
DAB digital radio works with an external DAB adapter, sold separately.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's screen on the head unit for apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto. Use it when parked.
Qualcomm 685 and Android 14
A Qualcomm 685 octa-core processor runs Android 14 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, plenty for offline maps, music and apps.
You can switch back to the original BMW system at any time and control it with the iDrive controller.

- This unit ONLY works with the original BMW EVO system. A EVO system car radio usually comes with EVO ID5 /EVO ID6 Interface and time displayed at the end.

- After installation the gesture control function cannot be activated and the touch function will not work when you switch to your original system (you can use the iDrive controller to control it on the original system).
This is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display, with an ISO wiring harness supplied. It only works with the original EVO system; NBT cars need the QWBX24NB12X1N and CIC cars the QWBX24CIB12X1. Checking your VIN with a dealer is the surest way to confirm which system you have.
How do I tell if my car has the EVO system?
An EVO radio usually has the EVO ID5 or EVO ID6 interface with the time shown at the end. A dealer can confirm it from your VIN.
Does the touch screen work on the original BMW system?
No. On the original system you use the iDrive controller, and gesture control can't be activated after fitting.
Is CarPlay wireless?
Yes. CarPlay and Android Auto both connect wirelessly.
How much storage does it have?
It has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
