Wireless Apple CarPlay

Full-featured Android Auto
Android phones get full-featured Android Auto, with navigation, calls and music apps laid out for driving on the 10.25-inch screen.
10.25-inch HD IPS screen
The 10.25-inch HD IPS display is fully laminated, so there's less reflection and the picture looks crisp. It stays readable from the passenger seat, and as a touch screen it makes picking a destination or a song much quicker than scrolling with the iDrive controller.
Built-in 4G
With 4G built in and a 4G antenna supplied, the unit can have its own internet connection for live maps and streaming, without tethering to your phone.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi lets the unit connect to a hotspot or home network for downloading apps and updates.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the screen, for apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto.
Microphone for calls
The unit supports a microphone for hands-free calls and voice control.
DAB with an external tuner
Connect an external DAB tuner to listen to digital radio stations. The tuner is a separate accessory.

- 1. This unit ONLY works with the original BMW CIC system. A CIC system car radio usually comes withCD button, a 4-pin LVDS port, a BMW CIC Interface.
- 2. For NBT system, please buy XTRONS QBBH14NB12X1N;
- 3. If your car comes with NO audio AUX input or the AUX port is not functioning, you will need to order an FM transmitter to aid the installation. (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.)
- Connect the XTRONS unit to your car's AUX input for audio functionality. Ensure AUX is enabled to enjoy the full audio experience with our head unit.
The screen is a custom fit for X1 E84 cars with the CIC system, which usually has a CD button, a 4-pin LVDS port and a BMW CIC interface. Sound plays through the car's AUX input, so AUX must be enabled. If there's no working AUX input, you'll need an FM transmitter such as the XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 or CA/ITR/FM03.
