Custom fit for the E46, Rover 75 and MG ZT
The unit fits every E46 body style from 1998-2006, including the M3, plus the Rover 75 (1999-2005) and MG ZT (2001-2005). The face panel measures 232/245x113mm, and there's no DVD drive. Check the year, size and shape of your centre console before ordering.
Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, an 11nm 64bit octa-core chip running at up to 2.0GHz, with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage from SAMSUNG/BIWIN. It runs Android 14 and plays 4K video.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
Your iPhone connects wirelessly, and maps, calls and music appear on the 9 inch screen. Voice commands work straight from the unit, so the phone stays out of your hand.
Android Auto, wireless or wired
Android phones connect wirelessly or with a USB cable. Full-featured Android Auto puts Google Maps, music apps and messages on the dashboard.
9 inch QLED screen
The quantum dot (QLED) panel shows bright, detailed colours, so maps and album art are easy to read. It has a 1280×800 resolution.
IPS wide viewing angle
The IPS panel keeps the picture clear when seen at an angle, so the passenger sees the same colours as the driver.
DSP with DTS sound
The Si47925 audio processor adds DTS decoding and fully digital audio processing, which helps keep the sound clean and free from interference. Use the DSP to adjust the sound to suit your car.
TDA7808 amplifier
The built-in TDA7808 automotive-grade digital amplifier drives the car's speakers directly.
Optical and RCA outputs
Optical and RCA audio outputs let you add an external amplifier or subwoofer. An RCA cable is in the box.
HDMI output for rear screens
The HD port sends video to rear-seat screens, so passengers can watch a film while the driver keeps the map on the main display.
Built-in 4G LTE
With a SIM card fitted, the unit connects to 4G by itself for navigation, streaming and sharing its connection. In Europe it uses bands 1, 3, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, and 40. A 4G antenna is supplied.
Wi-Fi
Join a hotspot or your home Wi-Fi to download apps and updates.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth handles the wireless CarPlay and Android Auto link with your phone.
GPS navigation
A GPS antenna is included, so navigation and tracking apps can run on the unit itself.
Screen mirroring
Mirror your phone onto the 9 inch screen to use apps that aren't in CarPlay or Android Auto.
Microphone
Microphone support gives you hands-free calls and voice commands from the unit.
USB
Two USB cables come with the unit, for wired Android Auto and for playing music and video from a USB stick.
DAB with an external receiver
The unit supports an external DAB receiver for digital radio. One isn't built in.

The unit connects with the supplied ISO wiring harness, CANbus box and radio antenna cable. If the centre console has an air-conditioning cover, it can be removed to make room. Some cars need extra cables: XTRONS ISOFZ and FZMF if the radio antenna port is in the boot, ICE/ACS/BMWDSP01 if the original radio has a 4.3" or 7" screen with a 12 pin plug, and EXL007 if the factory radio has a DSP button. In the Rover 75 and MG ZT the trim on both sides must be cut, and a 36pin radio harness needs AK/PSP9046B/ISOCBL02; test every function before trimming.
Will it fit my Rover 75 or MG ZT?
Yes, but the trim on both sides of the unit has to be cut, and a 36pin radio harness needs the extra XTRONS AK/PSP9046B/ISOCBL02 harness. Check every function works before trimming.
My E46 radio has a DSP button. Do I need anything else?
Yes, an extension cable. XTRONS EXL007 is compatible.
Can I send video to screens in the back?
Yes, through the HDMI output.
Does it have a DVD drive?
No, it doesn't.
