This screen is for the BMW 5 Series E60, E61 and M5 from 2005-2008 with the CCC system, and only works with that system. A CCC radio usually has both CD and DVD slots, a 10-pin LVDS port and the CCC interface.

The Android side works alongside the car’s original system, and the CD player doesn’t need removing.

CarPlay connects your iPhone without a cable, so maps, music and calls spread across the wide screen while the phone stays in your pocket.

Android Auto connects wirelessly too, putting Google Maps and music apps on the screen in a layout made for driving.

The IPS panel keeps the picture clear from both front seats, so the passenger can follow the map too.

Insert a SIM card and the built-in 4G module gives the unit its own data connection for navigation, video and games, without tethering to your phone.

Wi-Fi lets the screen join a hotspot or your home network for app downloads and updates.

The unit supports a 360 camera system, which shows the area around the car on the wide screen when you're parking. The cameras are sold separately.

A built-in DSP lets you adjust how the sound is processed, so you can tune the audio to suit the cabin.

An RCA audio output lets you connect an external amplifier if you want to upgrade the sound later.

A mini microphone is included for hands-free calls and voice commands.
