Android blends with the original NBT EVO system, and the CD player stays in place. The unit only works with NBT EVO, which usually has a 6-pin LVDS port and shows "NBTevo_xxxx" and "Automatic map update" in the version info.

The look of the menus alone doesn't prove it's EVO, so check the version info. Gesture control can't be used on the original system after fitting; the iDrive controller works there as before.
