The XTRONS QBBH14NBTH is a 10.25 inch 2K widescreen Android 14 unit that replaces the factory display in BMW 3 Series, 4 Series, M3 and M4 models. It brings wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in 4G and navigation.
The unit is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display in the BMW 3 Series, 4 Series, M3 and M4, connecting with the ISO wiring harness in the box. BMW fitted several different iDrive systems over these years, so check with us that this version matches your car before ordering.
The 10.25 inch IPS touchscreen is a 2K widescreen, so a map and your music fit side by side. IPS keeps the colours true from the passenger seat.
CarPlay connects to your iPhone without a cable, putting maps, music and messages on the screen as soon as you're in.
Your iPhone connects on its own when you start the car, so there's no cable to plug in. It needs an iPhone with wireless CarPlay support; check yours in Settings > General > CarPlay. A cable still works when you'd rather charge on the way.
Android Auto connects wirelessly too, with Google Maps, music and calls on the wide display.
Maps, calls, messages and music from your Android phone appear on the car screen, with Google Assistant for voice control. It needs a phone with Google services, which most Android phones have. To connect without a cable, the phone must support wireless Android Auto too.
Android 14 runs on a Qualcomm 662 octa-core processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, leaving plenty of space for apps and music.
Built-in 4G gives the unit its own internet connection for online maps and streaming without your phone's hotspot. A 4G antenna is included.
A SIM card in the head unit gives it its own internet connection for maps, traffic and streaming, so it doesn't need your phone's hotspot. You supply the SIM and the data plan; a data-only SIM is usually the cheapest way to do it.
Wi-Fi connects the unit to a home network or a hotspot.
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the head unit for apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto.
Mirroring shows your phone's whole screen on the car screen, unlike CarPlay and Android Auto, which show apps designed for driving. It usually needs a companion app on the phone, and paid video streaming apps often block it.
Microphone support lets you take hands-free calls and give voice commands.
DAB digital radio works when an external DAB tuner is connected.
Digital radio gives clearer sound and more stations than FM where there's DAB coverage. It needs a DAB aerial: a stick-on windscreen aerial is the usual choice, or a splitter if your car already has a combined FM and DAB aerial.
