The XTRONS QLBX44EVTW3 is a 14.9 inch 2K Android 14 screen for the BMW 2 Series F45 / F46 MPV (2018-2019) with the original EVO system. It adds wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, built-in 4G and a DSP, and the original CD player stays in place.

For the F45 and F46 with EVO
This unit only works with the original EVO system in the 2 Series F45 / F46 MPV. EVO has a 6-pin LVDS port, and the version info shows "NBTevo_xxxx" and "Automatic map update". The look of the iDrive screen on its own doesn't prove you have EVO.
Cars with NBT need the XTRONS QLBX44NBTW3 instead. NBT also has a 6-pin LVDS port, plus a MEDIA button or touch pad on the iDrive controller.
The Android screen works alongside the original system, so the CD player doesn't need to come out.
14.9 inch ultra-wide 2K screen
The 14.9 inch Grade-A 2K IPS screen has a 32:9 shape, so a map and your music or another app can sit side by side without switching. It's fully laminated, with a custom bezel and a 2.5D edge.
Wireless CarPlay
CarPlay connects to your iPhone without a cable, and maps, music and messages spread across the wide screen.
Wireless Android Auto
Android Auto connects wirelessly, with Google Maps, music and calls on the display.
Plenty of storage
A 12nm octa-core chip with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB ROM runs Android 14, with room for a large music library and lots of apps.
Built-in 4G
Insert a SIM card and the unit has its own 4G connection for navigation, video and online apps, without tethering a phone. A 4G antenna is in the box.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the unit to a home network or a hotspot.
Navigation
Navigation apps run on the unit, with a GPS antenna in the box.
DSP
The DSP lets you set the sound up to suit the car's speakers and your seat.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the head unit for apps outside CarPlay and Android Auto.

The unit is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display, connecting with the ISO wiring harness and audio cable in the box. The original CD player stays where it is. Confirm your car has EVO rather than NBT before ordering.
